As soon as the water hit my scalp, I sighed in relief. The chemicals washed away, and already, my hair felt lighter, softer. But as I reach for the shampoo, the glass shower door flew open and a cold gust of wind blew in. A heratbeat later, Hunter’s tattooed hand shot out and grabbed it from me. “What the f—” I started, spinning around, just as he tossed it aside onto the shower floor. “You see, little monster.
