Trinity. I woke up, rubbing my eyelids on a strange bed early that morning. The first ray of morning peaked brightly through the blinds. How could I have overslept? I looked to my left and caught the unfamiliar figure of the handsome stranger lying next to me, still peacefully sleeping. I admired the outlines on his beautiful face, and I realized it wasn’t just the alcohol that drew me to him the previous night. The dude was one hell of a hottie, and his looks undoubtedly took me. I wouldn’t mind having him over and over again. I quietly snuck out of bed and hurriedly put on my clothes. I was about to head out when I glanced one more time at the hot dude with whom I had just spent a sensual hell of a night. I thought about scribbling my number somewhere on a sheet of paper; it would surely be fun to see and possibly spend another fun night with this handsome dude, I thought to myself. Without committing myself, I made a move for the door and headed out. It felt a bit chilly outside, so I hurriedly flagged a taxi to stop. I slipped in and headed home; the events of the previous night spent with the handsome stranger flooded my mind, causing me to give off a pleasant smile. My smile, however, wavered the minute I recalled I hadn’t yet called Enisa my best friend. We both headed out to the club together, and I damn well knew my nosey brothers would put a check-in call through to her, enquiring about my whereabouts. Immediately, I dialed her number. Just as I thought, they had called. Enisa, as always, covered up for me, telling them that I had a hangover and drifted off to sleep the minute we retired back to her place. Enisa always came through for me; she was practically the sister I didn’t have. Being the only female in my family, my father and two brothers were highly overprotective of me. They monitored and tried to control my every move, my brothers in particular. My father was an Ex Beta wolf of our pack, a position now occupied by some other wolf chosen by the new and current Alpha. Now out of power, my father and brothers had so many plans for me, and marrying me off to an alpha, possibly one of our pack, Alpha Warren, who happened to be a friend of my eldest brother, Aiden, was one of them. As the Beta family, it was only expected that I would be a perfect match for our Alpha. The match was a major reason my family thoroughly monitored my every move and activity. My family believed I was a virgin and I didn’t dare to destroy their belief in me. I did initially plan on reserving my virginity for my chosen mate, but sadly, one thing led to another, and I naively lost it in one of my escapades with Enisa. On that fateful black night, according to Enisa, I had too much to drink in defiance of her warnings. One thing led to another, and she lost sight of me for close to an hour after I supposedly excused myself to the bath. She walked to the bath in search of me and was shocked to find me half stripped off my clothes and fully stripped of my virginity. I never fully recollected the events of that night, I couldn’t even recall making out with anyone, let alone having s*x. I made Enisa swear to never refer to that shameful night, and we never spoke about it, not even for a moment. I decided to go celibate after the incident, but here I was heading home from a steamy one-night stand with a total stranger whom I considered impressively hot. As always, I was going to blame it on the bottles of vodka I had at the club last night. Alcohol or not, I would definitely love to have that hot stranger twice on an empty stomach every day if I could. Damn! He was so cute. My family didn’t have an idea of my many escapades. I was okay with sneaking under their noses as long as I could get away with sneaking around. Enisa had taught me how to beat the scent the day I had my first sexcapade. Get home when no one is around and have a hot bath. No one could tell; my wolf Kitana seemed to be an expert at things like that. Due to my family’s reputation for being quite aggressive and ruthless. No one wanted anything to do with me, which subsequently added to the longevity of my celibacy journey up until the previous night with the stranger. Many people feared my father and my brothers greatly, and now that everyone knew I was to be joined with the Alpha, they steered clear of me. That was why Enisa and I always went up to the big city to party amongst the humans, where no one could recognize us. I arrived home and just as I expected, no one was home. I headed straight to my room to shower, soak up, and let my wolf do the rest. I freshened up for the day and exited the bath. I walked past the mirror when something caught my eye. Retracing my steps to reconfirm in the mirror, I screamed so loud at the shocking discovery. “f**k! Oh my Goddess this can’t be happening, no, no no….” I cried out. Fear enveloped me, and my hands and knees shook vigorously. I stared into the mirror long and hard, unable to believe my eyes. I used my hands to wipe away the steam so I could see clearly. I nudged myself to be certain I wasn’t dreaming or hallucinating. Is this even real? It was at that moment that I knew the game was up for me. Fuck! How the hell did this happen? When did this happen? It was just one time, one fuckin time! What the freaking hell! “Kitana! Help me out here!” I cried out to my wolf.
