3 Someplace Safe The large, black SUV waited in the drive as the sun began to peer over the tops of the trees. Emilia helped Larkin down the front steps, her arm wrapped tightly around Larkin's waist. She knew they shouldn’t be moving Larkin so soon. Larkin needed to rest. But the sight of Dexter walking toward the car with Molly’s wand pointed at his back quickly shook all thoughts of sleep from her mind. Molly opened the hatch. “Lie down.” She pointed to the trunk of the SUV. Dexter looked shocked only for a moment before lying down on the floor. “Cordus,” Molly said coldly.
