Chapter 1
Finally, I finished my accounting homework and wanted to get out of the house. I called my best friend Hayleigh, to pick me up for an adventure.
She had curly blonde hair and light blue eyes and a dark sense of humor. I, on the other hand, was 5'2" with jet black hair and reddish-brown eyes and a medium body size. I was more of a tomboy with a slight girly side that would rarely come out. I was considered nerdy for the fact that I was always studying something and most of the time it wasn't school related. Knowledge is power, right? Well, in my lifestyle it is to say the least.
We met through my parents working with her mom at the car dealership. Once she got her car, we were always out and about. I always had an overnight bag with me when I went with her anywhere. My overnight bag was always packed for three situations: party, lazy and casual. You never knew what was going to happen with us together.
“Moon, I’m house sitting this weekend,” Hayleigh nudged me while I looked at my phone, “want to hang out with me after we grab ice cream?”
I was hesitant because Hayleigh has been taking advantage of me finally being able to buy alcohol. I figured I might as well since it’s not like I had anything else planned except to go on a drive with Aiden, but he can join us if he doesn't have anything else planned for the night.
"Let me check with Aiden, maybe he wants to join us, otherwise I'll come back afterwards," I tried not to sound too excited about inviting him.
"You need to jump his bones already," she was referring to the ongoing joke that was about us.
Everyone that worked with Aiden and my father would joke that Aiden and I would make the perfect couple, but I saw him only as a great friend. We would hang out and grab food after I got out of my college classes. We were hanging out almost every day after he got out of work. He would pick me up in his beat-up red Jeep.
I blushed and began calling Aiden. We would always flirt, but never act upon anything. We were just close friends and I always thought of myself as one of the guys.
"Hey bubble butt, any ideas for tonight?" he joked about how I busted my pants open when climbing into his Jeep after class yesterday.
"Hey sugar t**s, want to hang out with Hayleigh and me tonight? I'm pulling out and she's house sitting."
"She needs to give her liver a break. Do I have time to change?" he sounded disappointed that we were staying in tonight. He also knew that Hayleigh was taking advantage of my age again. Once I turned 21, she was calling me to pull out for her every couple of days. Majority of the time I wasn't invited to the activity that she needed the alcohol for so it was slightly awkward when I would go to drop it off.
"Her grandparent's house and I guess so," I liked giving him a hard time, "you know I love the smell of dirty broken-down old cars." I actually love the smell of his cologne when he would get cleaned up before we hung out. The fact that he had the smell of a mechanic was a bonus too when he didn't have time to clean up.
From the driver's seat, Hayleigh screamed, "There's an extra bed for you guys across the house! I don't want to hear you guys while I sleep." I rolled my eyes and giggled.
Hayleigh was making s****l gestures in the background. She knew I liked him, but I was too shy to act on it since he was more on the innocent side. I, myself, had been into the kinkier things since I was a sophomore in high school. I began dating a senior that year and she would "tutor" me after school every day. She was my first and the beginning to my new lifestyle.
"No matter how far we are from you, Hayleigh, I'll make Moon scream for the heavens and echo through the whole house," he sounded as if he was accepting a challenge.
I giggled and let the two of them go back and forth about whether or not Aiden could make me scream.
"Ok children, as much as I need to get laid. I need to get our party favors and get ready," I said as we pulled up to Mario's Ice Cream Hub. We hung up then Hayleigh and I ran inside.
The whole time we were inside, I could only think about Aiden. I was imagining him pinning me down and kissing me while his hands explored my body. Kissing passionately and biting his lower lip as my hands ran through his dark brown hair. Staring into his dark brown eyes and gasping when he slips his hand into my pants.
Hayleigh threw a crinkled-up napkin at my face causing me to jump. "Hello? Earth to Moon. Can you hear me out there in space?" her joke made me giggle. "Are we ready to get the alcohol for tonight's festivities? How wasted are we planning to get tonight?"
"Don't you have work in the morning? Screw it, let's get our favs and head to the house to get ready." I began feeling guilty since he was my best friend and I shouldn't be thinking of him this way, but I couldn't help it. Hearing how he wanted to make me scream just stirred up my curiosity to see how far this night would go.
2 hours and 6 bottles of liquor later, I finally walked out of the store. I spent most of my time on the phone with Hayleigh since she couldn't make up her mind about what she wanted, so I grabbed everything. Heading to the house to change into some lazy pajamas for a night in with my best friends. It had been so long since we last had to sneak alcohol and hang out together. I can't wait to see how the night goes.
