Kimsun never imagined that a simple encounter would turn her life upside down. When she crosses paths with Ethan Blackwood, a powerful and ruthless billionaire, he makes an outrageous proposal—marry him. But Kimsun refuses, determined to live life on her own terms.

Unwilling to take no for an answer, Ethan makes things difficult for her, pushing her into a corner where she has no choice but to accept his deal. The marriage is purely transactional—money in exchange for her hand. Bound by a contract, they must convince the world they are the perfect couple, even though behind closed doors, they despise each other.

But as they navigate their fake friendship, the line between hatred and desire begins to blur. Unexpected emotions creep in, and soon, the act feels all too real. When love finally takes over, will they embrace it, or will their past bitterness keep them apart?

Secret Desires: A Love Hidden at Work
Just before I arrived at the shopping mall, I noticed there was uncontrollable traffic due to an ongoing campaign. It was chaotic, and I could already tell the day would be stressful. A few hours later, I finally reached the mall. I picked up everything I needed, only to find myself stuck in a long queue at the checkout. The wait was exhausting, making an already stressful day even worse. Oh! Before I forget, my name is Kimsun. I’m a graduate. I live alone, though sometimes I stay with my mom. The next day, I arrived at work looking my best—confident, stylish, and, if I do say so myself, a little sexy. After all, I knew I’d be seeing my crush. His name is James—the hottest guy in the department. And from what I’ve noticed, he seems to like me too. After completing my daily tasks, I headed to the restroom, only to run into James on the way. He looked worried, his usual confident expression replaced with something tense. Still, he was as handsome as ever. Feeling concerned, I decided to check on him. "Hello, James," I said, offering a small smile. "Hi, Kimsun," he replied, his voice carrying a hint of distraction. "Is everything okay?" I asked. He hesitated before responding, "Yeah... just something on my mind." "Oh? I was wondering if you’d like to share it with me. Maybe I can help." James studied me for a moment, then took a step closer. "Are you sure you can help me?" His voice was lower now, more intense. "Sure..." I said, though my heart started to race at the way he was looking at me. He moved closer until my back pressed against the wall. My breath hitched as he leaned in, his voice a whisper against my ear. "I need you." I blinked, caught off guard. "James..." He reached up, his fingers tracing lightly over my arm, sending a shiver down my spine. "Can you still help me?" he asked, his tone teasing yet filled with something deeper. His fingers brushed against my neck, making it impossible to think clearly. I had always liked James, but I never imagined being this close to him. My heart pounded as he leaned in, his scent intoxicating. His lips barely grazed mine before pulling back, his eyes searching mine for an answer. "I—" Before I could respond, he closed the distance, capturing my lips in a deep, fervent kiss. A rush of heat spread through me as I gripped his shoulders, unsure if I wanted to push him away or pull him closer. His hands traced slow patterns down my back, igniting every nerve in my body. "You smell incredible," I murmured between kisses, my hands sliding over the muscles beneath his shirt. James let out a low chuckle, his forehead resting against mine. "You have no idea how long I've wanted this." Neither did I, until now. The world outside faded, leaving just the two of us lost in the moment. As we finally pulled apart, breathless and exhilarated, James looked into my eyes and asked, "Kimsun, will you go out with me?" A smile spread across my lips as I nodded. "Yes, I’d love to." But as reality set in, he added in a hushed tone, "We have to keep this a secret at work." I understood the risks, but at that moment, all that mattered was that we were finally together.
