Summers over now what...

When summer was over and school was about to start things began to be strained between Faith and I. The friendship that had lasted for years was frayed like an old rope.
The new friends that had been made over the summer had started trouble between us. I began to feel like a third wheel when I was around them and they did nothing to ease my feelings.
I finally decided to talk to Faith about my feelings. She at first thought I was just jealous of the newness of it all. We had weeks where we hardly talked and when we did it was a complete argument.
I finally decided that I would just give her time and hopefully she would see what was going on. Her new friends weren't what they seemed.
Jon would call everyday and talk to her and on weekends he made the trip to visit her even if it was just for church on Sunday. They had only been dating for about 2 months when school began.
I would be a junior when school started and Faith being a year older would be in her final year of high school. She was so excited for graduation and what she had planned afterwards.
