"So we have figured out that the note was directing us here but where is the exact location of "it all began" Onyx spoke aloud but mostly to himself.

The group sat around a large table, Keelin looking exhausted with eyes staring at the boring beige walls. Not a single sound was heard around the dull brown table for what seemed like hours. 

"Thats it!" Lucifer suddenly stood causing his chair to fly backwards. 

"Dad what?" Keelin stared up at her father, he had a look as if he solved the worlds toughest riddle.

"The note is directing us to the tree your mother left you at, the one Brian found you at!" Keelin touched her heart at her fathers name, not a day goes by she doesn't miss him.

"Well lets go!" She jumped from her chair and started towards the door. Onyx grabbed her arm stopping her in her tracks.

"Wait." He spoke softly hoping not to upset his mate.

"What? Why are you stopping me?" She tried to pull from his grip but he would not give in.

"It could be a trap, we need to be prepared." Keelin started to argue but her mother cut in.

"Sweetie he is right, we still don't know who took Octavia or what they want with you. we need to be ready for anything."

"I think we need to call Koda, Jace and Izzy. They could be here by tonight and we could go tomorrow afternoon. Together." Onyx put emphasis on together while staring Keelin in the eye.

"Okay okay I get it, call them, i'm going to go train." Keelin said walking out of the door.

"I will stay with her" Lucifer said following closely behind his daughter. His heart broke to see her so sad but it nearly shattered to think of what is happening to his precious granddaughter. If only she had been taken a couple months later, if she had been 18 she could probably fight off whoever had taken her with no issue.

Sweat was dripping down her face as she wailed on the large punching bag hanging from the ceiling, Keelin was trying so hard to clear her mind but it kept drifting back to her little girl. Lucifer pushed off the door frame and made his way across the room. 

"So obviously breaking the bag isn't helping so why don't you fight me." His voice had a hint of challenge. 

"Dad I don't want to hurt you" Her green eyes met his challenging ones, he burst out laughing almost doubling over.

"You! You think you can hurt me!" Lucifer pointed from Keelin to himself, his words hardly coming out between his deep laugh. He took a couple breaths and straightened himself out. "You my dear do not stand a chance against me." He lightly wacked the side of her head and jogged out the side door, her wolf couldn't stand down from a challenge even if it was from her father. She chased after him but when she stepped out of the door he swept her legs putting her on her ass. 

"Get up" Lucifer demanded. The second she was on her feet a fist was flying, she ducked just in time and swung back.

"What are they doing?" Onyx asked Luna who was watching her mate and daughter spar from a balcony overhead.

"He is trying to help her clear her mind." Luna was basically an older version of Keelin, she was leaned up against the railing. She could see the pack members staring at her from time to time, no one knew who she was officially but their instincts knew she was someone of tremendous power. Onyx noticed the stares trained on her.

"Does it ever bother you?" She hummed in response.

"After a few centuries, you get used to it" She chuckled. 

"Do you think Keelin stands a chance?" He nodded to the father daughter pair throwing punches and kick down in the field.

"She still does not realize exactly how strong she is." Luna smiled at Onyx before walking away, she had something she needed to take care of alone.
