Chapter One First Day
It was the first day at a new school, and I was terrified, the only person I knew was jasmine, but I was excited to see my sister. I haven’t seen her in almost a year and a half now. When I walked into the door, it wasn’t like any other school I have been too, it was a boarding school for kids with unique gifts. People like me who are werewolves and also people who have magic. It made me feel even more terrified, but curious. I never knew there were people with magic out there in the world.
As I made my way to the headmaster’s office, I was surprised to see that he wasn’t much older than I am, and he was very attractive. He has thick dark brown hair and brownish gold eyes and is much taller than I. He has to be almost 6 foot tall.
Good morning Ms. Watson, I am headmaster James Griffin. It is nice to finally meet you. Your sister has been telling me about you and that you are thinking of joining our school here this fall.
I was thinking about it, but I have made my mind up, I would like to start attending today if it was possible. I know it is late in the year, and I’m sure you probably don’t have any room for me.
I’m going to stop you right there. We would love to have you start today, but we have some paperwork for you to fill out first and to find a room and get it ready for you. How about we get this set up and done today, so you can start tomorrow.
That sounds great. You said jasmine has been talking about me to you, can I ask what she said? I haven’t seen her in a few years, makes me curious to see what she has to say about me.
Nothing bad I can say, she seems very worried about you, and she wanted to make sure we have room for you if you decided you wanted to attend sooner than she was thinking. She also was telling me that you are an amazing person who likes to paint and read and be in nature, from the way she was talking it was like she was talking you up to me. Like she wanted more from me than just to be your headmaster.
My sister is definitely trying to make something happen, but she wasn’t wrong about anything about me. Mr. Griffin, you seem familiar to me, is this the first time we’ve met? Something about you makes everything seem safe. I’m sorry if that was inappropriate something just feels right, right now.
I understand how you feel, I feel it too. I have to say this but if you decided to attend the school nothing can happen between us. You seem familiar to me as well.
He takes his hand to brush her hair behind her ear, as soon as his fingers touch her face they both feel this magical intensive electrical feeling run down both their bodies. She then nudges her head into his hand, staring at each other as he smiles at her. He leans down to kiss her. He inches closer and closer until their lips finally met when all of a sudden the office door opens and a small group of kids walked in, including Jasmine.
What in the hell is going on in here, “said jasmine.”
At that moment I decided to tell her “I decided I don’t want to attend school here anymore” and walked out the door.
As she walked away, James followed her out down the hall until he grabbed her arm pulling her into an empty classroom and kissed her like they were the only two people in the world. It was like they have known and been with each other there hole life. It felt like they were made for each other. It felt like everything was perfect in the world. But some part of me knew something wasn’t right here. So I pushed him away and walked out the door.
