Forbidden Love

Maddie POV Last day of summer. What a bummer. Sure, I love school, perfect grades, popular, but I could use a few more days before going back. I haven't had the chance to have a break, my parents constantly nagging me about studying, making sure I am on the top. I mean, I love them to death, but please. I am not a child and can take care of myself. I have enough credits to graduate now if I want to, but I decided to remain silent about that, just so that I can continue going to school and be free from my parents, at least one more year. Oh yeah, it just hit me, we are getting this new student this year, a transfer student from Seoul, South Korea, if I am not mistaken, and he will be entering my class as well. All of a sudden, I just got those butterflies in my stomach and I got the urge to go to bed already, sleep away the entire day, so it could be a new day. I just wanted to meet this mysterious new man that would be entering my class and be my responsibility for an entire week. Well, what can I say? I just have this feeling that it will be an interesting year. "Maddie!" I heard my mom yell my name from the kitchen. I look at the clock and see that it is 12PM. Oh no, I have slept way to long and been daydreaming even longer! "Coming!" I jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs. It felt like I was flying in at almost a record time. I was down in the kitchen. "Maddie, seriously? You just woke up?!" Mom wasn't fond of my sleeping hours when I was off from school. "I am sorry mom, I was watching a movie and spoke to Amanda. I forgot the time". I apologized sincerely. "Just make sure you are in bed on time tonight and wake up to your alarm tomorrow. You are graduating next year and can´t keep this facade and sleep for the entire day. You need to step up your game if you want to graduate with honors". Here we go again, the same lecture every year. "I know mom, I won't go to bed to late tonight, and I will be up on time tomorrow. You don't have to worry". Mom just huffed and turned back to the stove, which meant that the conversation was over. I turned around to walk back to my room for a shower and almost bumped into my dad. He wasn't a small man, so bumping into him was easier than avoiding it. "Take it easy pumpkin, I could have spilled this delicious coffee over your pajamas. I do not want to waste such precious gold as my coffee". "Dad, please. Stop calling me pumpkin, besides, if you spilled the coffee over me, wouldn't it be a bummer if I got burned and had to go to the hospital?" "First of all young lady, you have always been my little pumpkin, so why would you stop being it now? Second of all, if I spilled my coffee on you, you will heal, maybe an ugly scar here and there, but you can always cover it up. This cup of coffee, however, is the only cup I got today and can't be replaced, which means, nah". He winks at me and left me dumbfounded in the doorway. I hear mom chuckle at dad's remarks. "Yeah right, I can feel the love from you old man". With that said, I ran up the stairs giggling when I heard dad put his cup down and darts after me. I ran into my room and locked the door. "Open the door little pumpkin, this old man of yours want to have a talk with you". He tried to be sound serious but failed, I can hear how mom is laughing downstairs at our little game. "Forget it old man, I am about to take a shower before Amanda arrives for our little shopping trip. The last thing I want is my father to see me naked." "Yeah you are right. We have to continue this later I guess". He left my door and walked back downstairs. I grabbed my towel, and some clothes and headed to my bathroom that is connected to my bedroom. I stripped off my pajamas and put it in my laundry basket before I headed into the shower and turned it on. I was a petite woman, 5ft tall, with big round boobs, a round and firm butt, long curly dark brown hair that went down to my butt and skyblue eyes. I was what they called pretty in school, but to me, I was more than just pretty, I was hot, sexy even. Guys could line up to ask me out for a date, but none of them was really my type, I just didn't feel that they were the right one. Not everyone knew it, but I was a virgin. I have never dated anyone even less had s*x. The rest of the day flew by. Amanda picked me up as planned and we went to the mall downtown. It's not a big town, but big enough to have the biggest mall in the country, weird right? Anyway, we shopped for clothes, make up, and other "good to have" stuff, that when I finally got home, I was exhausted. If it wasn't for my mom being so stubborn that I have to eat dinner, I would probably be sleeping past it. "So pumpkin, how was your shopping with Amanda?" Unlike mom, dad loved to go to stores and shopping and all that, while mom hated it. Might sound strange to most people, and well me, but I am kinda used to it. "It went more than well enough dad. I found a lot of new, cute clothes, some make up, a few new pens and stuff for school." I was to tired to even fight him for calling me pumpkin. "Glad to hear it went well. I guess your not changing your style, Maddie?" Mom isn't very fond of my choice of clothes, I mean I love it, baggy jeans, crop top and sneakers. I am rather comfortable in what I am wearing, than walking around and looking like a duck in high heels. It's not a joke, I do look like a duck when I try to walk in high heels. "Mom, we've been going through this before, you know I would never change the way I dress just to please you. I have my own style. I can't even walk in high heels." Mom sighs and just shakes her head. She knows that it is true, last time she tried to make me walk in high heels was only a few months ago, I almost broke my ankle in the process. It wasn't a beautiful sight when I fell on my ass. Luckily, we finished dinner in silence, which is unusual in our family, but the silence was comfortable. After dinner I gave dad a fast run over of what I bought before I headed for the shower and went to bed and a strange dream appeared, a big midnight black wolf with the most beautiful, skyblue eyes, with small amber dyed circles around the skyblue, like a border so his eyes would stay like that. But what he said, threw me off guard. "Soon my little mate, soon we will be together. I will wait for you." My name is Maddie Smith and this is my story!
