Sighing, Louisa left her bed, putting on her shoes. "I wonder what I have done."
Susan hummed in response, then asked.
"But why didn't you tell anyone about being Teague's mate? You couldn't even tell me and Evie, your friends! We asked you and you told us you haven't found him yet."
Louisa walked to the door. "Yeah, well, I've been friends with you and Evie for too long to share with you such information. Besides, Teague decided to reject me, but we must have done the rejection the wrong way."
"The mate bond wasn't broken?" Sue asked as she closed the door and followed Louisa.
