Galaxy

I was sitting in a stale hot bar alone. It was 10pm and early drunken laughter filled the room.It had been a long week, full of stress and heartbreak. Fender bender on monday, I lost my precious 11 year old lab on tuesday, and today on this drizzly thursday i quit my job, when i woke up to divroce letter on my nightstand, there went 7 years. The letter states that she and my boss had been having an affair with my boss, Markus. said it started about a year ago when he dropped off some papers for me to sign. In her words "sparks flew" how cliche? I was on my third vodka and sprite, since I had stormed my law firm, threw my office phone, company car keys (boy would I miss that jag) and a computer at my bosses feet and a sloppy pile and quit on the spot, i had no plans on looking back. I grabbed my phone to order a ride, done wallowing in my own self pity. When in walked, the most out standing woman I had ever seen. She was in the middle of two blonde twins. They were both taller than her by a few inches. the woman being of about average height, they were a bit smaller than her, She had dyed pink and purple hair. Her beauty radiated past them, She wearing a slim fitting red dress that was all slik,little black wedges that weren't too high off the ground. But to describe her would be paramount to describing the stars. the galaxy even. I know it's cliche but the mystery woman in the bar was gorgeous. I sat mouth slightly ajar as she, well they walked my way through the bar. Stopping a few feet away. I couldn't believe this, she was staring right back at me. She whispered to cc1 ( I dubbed the twins carbon copy one and two). She shook her head and laughed. She headed my way. My mind ran wild. She Couldn't walk up to me with that smile. fifteen feet and my heart pounding, ten feet, I looked left to right there wasn't anyone else within five feet, nope she was headed right at me. five feet and her magnificent eyes came into view. I couldn't tell if they were brown or green, they were like a beautiful mix. I was leaning more green. They reminded me of this hidden river sand we used to play at when I was a kid. It was like I found a home. Whoa these thoughts are heavy. She sat on the low setting barstool next to me. Sitting a few inches taller than me. By a few inches I really meant a half a foot. "what you drinking, handsome?" she asked with ease and had been clearly pregaming it. As she picked up my drink and finished it with ease. She smiled as she put the drink down. " Vodka nice '' she smirked with a crooked half smile. Her scent completely engulfed my nose. It had a sickly sweet scent. Cupcakes. That's what I smelled. This girl was out of the world. Galaxy is what I'll call her. I smiled at her in those deep big eyes. She had on some speckled dark blue eyeshadow that only emphasized the galaxy theme. She had on deep red lipstick. "Buy you another?" She asked hopefully. "I'd love that galaxy." I let the nickname slip. She just chuckled and waved over the bartender. And the best night of my life began.
