Naime left Drake’s place early in the morning, having enjoyed a coffee there before heading straight to the office. She had hoped for a week free from work, but it seemed Drevin had other plans. Nonetheless, she was in a good mood, buoyed by a night with Drake that had exceeded her expectations, as it often did. Although she had thought their connection might end when she realized they shared a friend group, she was pleasantly surprised to find she was wrong. In the end, neither of them minded at all.
They continued their passionate encounters to their hearts' content.
Naime dashed from the parking area to the elevator, but she still arrived late. Feeling a bit embarrassed, as it was her first time being tardy, she took a deep breath and greeted Drevin as soon as she arrived.
