Chapter 262018—late November Eric and Carlton celebrated Thanksgiving with a quiet dinner for two. Eric had considered inviting Rusty and his latest playmate to dinner, but Rusty’s mother had beaten him to it. The turkey and all the trimmings were history, and what hadn’t been consumed was in the refrigerator, waiting to be warmed up the next day.
