Eric and Carlton had an appointment with a surrogacy specialist at the Integrity Foundation and had accepted an invitation to stay with Charles and Philip Barnett during their visit to Atlanta.
“That’s an impressive house,” Carlton said as he drove up the driveway to the Barnett mansion in Buckhead.
“Perhaps, but so is ours, in a different way.”
“Yeah.”
The front door of the house opened, and Philip stepped out onto the verandah.
“And there’s one of our hosts,” Eric said.
Carlton pulled up in front of the entrance, and they exited the truck.
“It’s good to see you guys again,” Philip said as he shook their hands. “If you’ll get your bags, I’ll show you to your room.”
They retrieved their rolling bags and followed Philip into the house.
