CHAPTER 19
I stood at the door of the conference room undecided. The conference room was where my father always held important pack meetings. The fact that I was summoned here filled me with dread.
I wished I could have asked Alastair why I had been summoned by my mother but he had just delivered the message and I hadn't caught a glimpse of him. Instead of him, a maid had told me where to find my mother.
I was obviously in so much trouble. I hoped my mother was the only one there. I knew I could explain to her and make her take my side- eventually. My mother was not a pliant Luna- far from it. She was an Alpha's mate through and through. Still, I felt I could make her see reason.
