Morning came all too soon, and with it the memories of all that had transpired last night. I was still tired out- with all the preparations for the party that had taken hours and my sleeplessness of the night before. I felt a little better though and optimistic. I had not figured out everything yet, but what was the worst that could happen? If I could survive last night, I could survive anything. I went through my morning routine, ran a hot bath and inspected myself in the foggy mirror. The bags under my eyes were a little less prominent and I looked a little better.
