I pulled away from my mother and got to my feet. A wave of tiredness washed over me. I was still hungry too. Thanks to Kane I had only succeeded in taking a small portion of food before hastily leaving the dining room. I felt my shoulders slump. My mother's sharp eyes noticed the movement. She nodded her head as if confirming her suspicions. "I hope it is nothing very serious." She said as she led me to a chair in the corner, forcing me to sit. The doctor made a move to assist her, but a glare from me over my mother's shoulders rooted her to the spot. "I am fine mum." I insisted. "I just need some more rest." She arched an eyebrow. "Rest?
