CHAPTER 12 As Kane slowly walked towards the car, I wondered what was in the bags. I felt surprised when the guards already ahead of him put the bags in the boot. Earlier after breakfast, I had insisted on taking just a few clothes with me. Since Kane seemed willing to get rid of me, I did not want any reminders of the time I had spent with him. Naomi and I almost had a row about it. She insisting I take all the clothes we bought at the mall, and me insisting on taking nothing. In the end, we had reached an impasse. I had accepted to take some, not all of the clothes. Naomi had agreed to it, so I was curious about the contents of those bags. I could make a pretty good guess though.
