PROLOGUE
I am in love with her. With my very very homophobic best friend.
I don’t know how, when or why it happened, but now my entire being revolves around making her happy, because when she’s happy, I’m happy.
It also doesn’t help that I’m suddenly very possessive and jealous.
Seriously, I walked into a wall the other day because she was talking to a boy. Her popularity certainly doesn’t help in that regard.
She’s made her stance on homosexual relationships very, very clear, so telling her how I feel is most definitely out of the question.
I know I’m not being myself, but how can I, when I suddenly want to hug and kiss the very beautiful girl I share a room with.
My other friend can tell I love her.
They’ve confronted me already and I’ve had to come clean about my feelings.
If they can tell, I’m afraid it’ll only be a matter of time before she can too, since she’s very perceptive.
I’ve tried staying away but it hurts too much to do so.
I crave her presence. It’s probably unhealthy at this point.
However what hurts the most is the fact that she’ll never feel the same way.
