THE LAST DAY BRIDE

Episode 01

New York City

Rissa Williams wipe the sweat falling from her face, down to her chest, It has been 4 hours working non-stop, even though she has become used to it, she is getting freaked out now.

Her step-sister Claudia walked down the stairs wearing a bum shorts, with her head's phone on, she intentionally poured some water on the floor to make Rissa suffer more.

"Yuck, can't you do anything right? are you blind, dint you see me coming." She yelled

"Oh, I understand, you poured the water so I will slip and fall right?" Claudia shouted dragging Rissa's hair,

"Let me go, I didn't do anything of such, you planned everything," Rissa replied,

"What's going on here?" Mr Williams (Rissa's dad) and his wife (her step mum) Mrs Jenny asked coming out from their rooms.

"Mum, Dad, this cruel girl poured water so I will slip and fall, and when I talked to her calmly about why she did that, she insulted me badly." Claudia lied,

"Bastard, I know you can do worst more than this. I did not expect from a witch like you? All because of you, I lost my wife, you are such bad luck." Mr Williams shouted

Tears fell from Rissa's eyes while Claudia Smirked

"Dad, I dint kill mum, you knew it, mum died while giving birth to me, is that also my fault? why are you blaming everything on me?" Rissa cried,

"So you even have the nerves to speak back at me huh? if only your mum listen to me and abort your useless pregnancy when you were still in the womb, then maybe she will have been alive today." Mr Williams ranted,

Rissa falls on her knees and cried her eyes out,

"Make sure you finish everything, cook and wash Claudia's cloth, mind you, don't use any Washing machine" Mrs Jenny ordered and they all Left,

"God, why is my life so useless? Why does mum have to leave me in this cruel bloody world? Why is dad, my father? Why can't he love me even if it is little?" Rissa asked several questions to herself and cried,

After crying for some minute, She got up and wiped her tears, She continued mopping the floor

⬜THE BROWNS PARADISE

The maids were seen walking around the gigantic mansion which people named the BROWN PARADISE, because of how big, beautiful and peaceful it looks from the outside,

But in the real world, peace is far away from them,

"Get back here woman, am not yet done with you." Mr Brown shouted at his wife,

"What do you have to say to me, or do you think am scared of you, there is nothing to be scared of in. Womanizer like you, and an old irresponsible man like you" Mrs Elizabeth replied

He couldn't control his anger. A hot slap landed on Mrs. Elizabeth face. "don't get on my nerves." Mr Brown shouted pinning her to the wall,

"Dad, mum, will you guys stop this childish behavior?" Clifford cut in.

Clifford is a guy born into a wealthy family, everyone thought been rich is all, but all Clifford ask for every day is a peaceful home even if it takes all the wealth.

"I will not keep shut not until this old cargo you call your dad decided to do the needful, you are not getting married and that's all." Mrs Elizabeth said

"The disadvantage of marrying an poor wife is he is not getting any younger, he needs a woman in his life, and probably a wiser woman, not your type." Mr Williams replied

Clifford sighed and hold his head in frustration,

"You always want me to get married, for what? what, tell me so that my wife and I will keep on fighting each other every day like you both. Am not getting married and no one can force me to." Clifford said and set to leave,

"Remember this, if you don't want to get married, then fine and good, but am taking everything away from you, my companies and I will freeze your account, don't think of this as a joke, I mean my words cliff " Mr Williams stressed the words and get out of the room leaving Clifford and his. mum,

Cliff stared at his mum one more time and get out of the room too,

He immediately went to the bar drinking himself to stupor,

"My life doesn't even matter." He murmured as he drink another bottle of Alcohol

Rissa was done with the house chores minutes ago, she relaxed on one of the couches waiting to ask for permission from her dad to visit the national library in new York,

Not long after, Mr Williams and his wife came downstairs, Uhmm dad, Rissa paused bowing her head down,

"If you are asking me for money then am not giving you." Mr Williams replied without listening to her.

"No, is not a money problem, please am asking for your permission to visit the national library." Rissa pleaded,

"National library or national club, or you think we don't know how much you love boys and anything inside trouser?" Mrs Jenny half yelled,

"Mum, I swear, I just want to go to the library, it has been a long I went to school and I don't want to forget what I have been taught," Rissa said

"Oh wow, so you are now trying to tell us that I failed as your supposed dad, I won't send you to school, I had known you are a hypocrite. You are not going anywhere and that's final, besides you haven't swept Claudia's room." Mr Williams replied

"Dad, what have I ever done wrong to you, why do you hate me so much, Why am I not important to you, I have been trying my best to be the perfect daughter, to make you have a soft spot for me, but all in vain? why dad why?" Rissa break down in tears,

"How dare you talk to me like this?" Mr Williams shouted and gave her a sound slap on her cheek making her to fall all over her face,

He drag her hair, and gave her another slap,

"Calling you my daughter is the worst regret am having every day, get out of my sight," Mr Williams shouted and trow her down making her to head her head on the couch,

"Daddy, mummy, am going out," Claudia called coming out of her room dressed in a black crop top and a red bum shorts, she let her hair down with red seductive lips stick, she walked to them swaying her butts from left to right,

"Wow, you look super gorgeous hunnie," Mr Williams said and peak her forehead,

"How I wish, I can be like Claudia, so sad, so he can love me, as I am his biological daughter, while she is just a stepdaughter, but he valued her more than anything, how I wish, I can be the one that he will choose even if it's for a day," Rissa prayed as she watched and admire her dad and Claudia,

"Where are you off to baby", Mrs Jenny asked, "Actually my boy best friend, you understand, He is having a birthday party and I have to be there," Claudia replied

"Wow, that's a good thought, have this cash, send my happy birthday to him," Mr Williams said giving her some dollars,

"Ugh daddy, I want this thing to follow me, you know I need like a maid to be there with me, and to be holding my things," Claudia said

"You mean Rissa? why not, you can go with her, after all, she is not adding anything by staying at home," Mr Williams replied,

"But dad, I have lessons to attend, I can't go with her to some lousy birthday party, besides am not her maid," Rissa said calmly,

"You see what am telling you about? this girl has no manners and very soon, she will slap us one by one," Mrs Jenny said,

"I will have beaten the hell out of her, but go get ready, in ten minutes and go with her, if you act stubborn huh, even the dead will be more happier than you," Mr Williams warned and returned to his room. ,

"You haven't seen everything yet witch, I will soon throw you out of this house, If I were you, I will have left a long time ago, coz you have no place here," Mrs Jenny said with an evil laugh,

"You know what mum, Claudia, Try and keep trying, try as much as you can, but one day, I will surely be the winner and I will laugh at you, Enjoy while it still lasts," Rissa said and wipe her tears before heading to her small room,

Her room is one of the smallest rooms in the house that she can barely stand straight,

Some minutes later,

Rissa met Claudia at the gate,

She is already waiting in the black sports car, Mr Williams bought for her on her 20th birthday,

"You are wasting my time, get in the car," Claudia ordered,

"Rissa opened the car and entered, Ugly thing, how can you be this ugly, yuck, Your. mum must be damn ugly," Claudia cursed

"I can tolerate anything from you, dad and your mum, but I can't tolerate you saying bad words against my mum," Rissa shouted,

"Ohh, you gonna hit me, poor you, you can't do anything, am better than you in all ways, m" Claudia spat,

"Oh, that's why your dad divorced your mum and you both tucked with my dad," Rissa chuckled

Claudia gave her a deadly glare and the car key.

She look at her back before she drove out of the compound,

5 stars club, New York,

The sound of the loud music was heard, girls dancing, boys rocking, pouring drinks to themselves, Claudia and Rissa get down the car and entered the club,

The blue, green, red lights make Rissa feel dizzy,

"Can I wait for you outside, I don't like the sounds and the lights please," Rissa asked calmly,

"I also love what you hate, so you are not going anywhere," Claudia replied and throw her bag at her following her inside the club,

"Baby girl, I thought you are not coming," a drunk guy said hugging Claudia, "

"You know I have to come jack, anyways, what's the goodies?" Claudia asked,

"Before that, the girl you, who is she?" jack asked staring at Rissa with lust

"Oh, that thing, she is my maid, of course," Claudia replied,

"Whoa, she got the package babe, I wanna have a taste," Jack said,

"Forget about that, let's go party, hurray," Claudia screamed and left Rissa alone,

"Look at her, so Annoying", Rissa soliloquized and found a place outside the noisy club thinking about life.

THE BROWN PARADISE

"Are the goods ready?" Mr Brown asked,

"Yes boss, we have arranged everything in the truck, the goods worth 15 million dollars," The staff replied,

"Good, make sure the goods reach there safe and sound." Mr Brown ordered,

"At your service Mr Brown," they replied

5 stars club,

After hours of clubbing, Claudia came out of the club looking tipsy, she barely open her eyes,

Rissa saw her and quickly went to her,

"Claudia, you are drunk, God, why must you over drunk yourself, you knew I can't drive, now is late, who will take us home?" Rissa asked with a worried face,

"Who, who the hell, said am drunk, Am seeing Everything, am fine, I am not drunk you b***h," Claudia said opening her eyes with her hands and laughing,

She almost fall but Rissa was quick to grab her,

"I told you right, get your filthy hands off me," Claudia said in her drunk state and opened the car, She struggled to open her eyes and entered the car,

"You can't drive in this condition Claudia, we might get into an accident, I don't want to die now," Rissa said dragging her out of the car,

"If you are not following me, then stay," Claudia said and turn on the engine,

"This place looks lonely and quiet, staying here is also dangerous, I have no option but to go with her," Rissa thought and sighed

She opened the other door and entered,

The car zooms off,

Claudia turn on the music at a high volume, dancing and driving,

Rissa is only praying to reach home safely,

Even though her life is nothing to say about but she doesn't want to die, probably not now. She thought,

Suddenly, a big truck appeared in their front,

Claudiaaaa, Rissa screamed

Claudia struggle to control the car which she did but the car landed into the bush and hit a tree,

But the worst thing is,

The truck driver lost his control, hit a tree, and the truck catch fire,

The driver was able to escape but the goods worth 15 million dollars of Mr Brown have burnt to Ashes,

THE BROWN PARADISE

Mr Brown get out of the bathroom and sat on his soft floozy bed,

His phone rings,

He slides to answer and bounce on the bed,

"Boss, boss, something happened," A voice said in a disturbed voice,

"What the hell happened, why is your voice shaking?" Mr Brown asked,

"The goods truck got into an accident and have burnt to Ashes," The voice answered

"Whaaaaat!” Mr Brown screamed and stood up immediately
