Episode 02

Mr Brown hop on the bed willing to take a nap when his phone hoops,

He slide to answer,

"?Mr Brown, something transpired,

Someone said over the phone with a shaky voice,

"?What happened, why is your voice shaking?" Mr Brown asked,

"?The goods, the truck burnt to Ashes, all the 15 million dollars goods have burnt to Ashes", Mr Brown,

The caller announced,

"Whaaaaat, Mr Brown screamed and stood up from the bed walking out of the room,

THE STORY CONTINUES

While going out, he met Mrs. Elizabeth on the way,

"Why do you look fierce, is anything wrong with you?" she inquired with a suspicious expression,

'Everything most be wrong when I have you in my life, get out of my sight,

Mr Brown babbled,

"I didn't ask because I minded, I asked because is my obligation as a wife,

Mrs. Elizabeth shouted,

"Your duty as an erratic wife", Mr Brown answered and shoved her off his way heading to the garage.

Rissa asked worriedly,

"I have been driving for ages, just because you were with me in the car, you sent your terrible luck to me,"

"Goodness you are back, I have been bothered sick thinking about you, why do you hang around this late outside?"

Mr Williams interrogated,

"Something happened dad, Rissa answered,

"I wasn't talking to you, I don't care if you spend the night there, am talking about my daughter Claudia,

Mr. Williams said petting Claudia's hair,

"Dad, this stubborn girl got into an accident with us, we nearly died but thanks God, I am alive,

But the truck she crushed was holding up a lot of goods that were worth millions,

Claudia lied,

"You are such a big lier, Claudia, dad, please don't concede with what she is saying,

'Claudia was drunk and even after I warned her not to drive in that situation, she refused to agree, she got implicated in the accident not me,

Rissa explained

"You are the lier, you did everything and you wanna blame it on me?

Claudia asked,

"Bastard child, I know you detested my daughter that's why you want the blame to be on her, you are too fragile for that,

Mrs Jenny asserted,

"Dad, please trust me, I know you are conscious I am not lieing, believe me, Claudia resulted in the accident,

Rissa said calmly hoping she can transform her dad's mind,

Mr Williams announced and vacated from the scene,

Claudia and her mum Grinned at Rissa,

Her stomach whimpered,

"I dint eat breakfast, nor lunch, now no dinner, in my own dad house?"

Rissa asked herself as she retired to her room,

"Why am I feeling like something bad with Happen tomorrow? she thought,

She slides her hand under her pillow and brings out a small paper image of her mum,

"Mum, I know you are aware of the miseries am going through,

Please can you visit dad, even if it's in a dream, and tell him I don't kill you? please mum, do this for me,

Rissa prayed with tears in her eyes and nuzzle the picture to sleep

Clifford stared at the laptop having no idea about the files he is trying to work on,.his mind is so busy with a lot of things,

Clifford was so lost in thought, he didn't concede his presence,

"Mr cliff, the MD called jotting him out of his thoughts

Cliff shouted angrily,

"Am sorry, the manager apologize and turned to leave,

Without knowing, Rissa step on one of the pills and slip, she falls down

Claudia and her mum burst out snickering

Rissa stared at her dad wishing he will say something,

"I knew you fall intentional so you will not do your work",

Mr Williams ordered,

The doorbell rings,

"Are you waiting for us to tell you to open the door?

Mrs Jenny asked

Rissa manage to get up and slowly headed to the door,

She opened the door and her heartbeat increased, her body is already shaking,

Seeing a huge man with olden aged cigarettes huffing smokes all over the place with almost 5 hefty men, and two vans of policemen,

He pushed her from the door and forcefully entered the house,

Jenny, Claudia, and Mr. Williams stood up immediately,

Mr Brown removed his glasses,

He smoked the cigarette looking at them one after the other,

He puff the disgusting smokes on Rissa's face, she coughed

"Mr Brown! Mr. Williams said shockingly,

"Thank goodness you already know who I am, am damn serious and I won't repeat myself,

"Who among your two girls drove recklessly yesterday's night, got into an accident and make my truck full of 15 million dollars goods burnt to Ashes,

Who?" Mr Brown shouted

Rissa flinched with his scary voice

Rissa said immediately,

He said pointing at Claudia,

"She is right sir, Rissa was the one who drove the car yesterday,

Claudia lied too,

Rissa pleaded to rub her hands together,

She was putting inside the police Van with handcuffs on,

She sat in the middle of the policemen crying her eyes out,

"She caused everything, and that's final,

Mr William's words kept ringing in her ears,

The van stopped and she was dragged out of the van taking her inside the prison,

Mr Brown Smirked at her,

"I think no one wants you in your family, you are pretty and innocent, but too bad, no one loves you in your family,

Rissa pleaded

"Story for another day, lock her up,

He ordered,

A female police officer pulled Rissa walking with her to only God knows where,
