Michelle sat a the entrance of the house thinking of all her mother and grandmother had told her, as she sat lost in thought, her

grandmother appeared and sat beside her

"still angry at your mom's decision"

she asked

Michelle sighed with her hands on her chin

"I'm not angry at her decision,it's just that i don't want her to get hurt the second time,I don't think she'll love that man or he'll love her either"Michelle replied

her grandmother smiled at her and patted her head

"your mom was young and inexperienced then, but now I think she can handle herself" the old lady said still smiling at her

"but a person only falls in love once in a lifetime, can she ever love the man she's planning to marry?" she asks her granny nodded slowly

"of course one can fall in love over and over again depending on the heart, but Michelle dear you have to understand, your mum ain't getting any younger" she pauses for a moment

"she needs to move on, it's been fifteen years now"

Michelle's expression showed remorse

"I'm sorry granny, I certainly don't want Mom to suffer because of me, I also want her to be happy" tears filled her eyes as she spoke

"and if getting married would make her happy, then she should do it, even if I still don't consent to it" she said as she left her grandmother alone at the entrance.

"poor child, you're so afraid of change.....you haven't seen the rest of it....I wish you adjust to the changes you'll encounter".
