After Lola went into the bathroom and I heard the click of the door, I knew I still had a long way to go to prove to her she could trust me.
Not that I can blame her. If her stepfather was treating her so badly and he was someone she should be able to trust and rely on, then it was hardly a shock that she found it hard to trust me.
