I had roused Lola from her nightmare again, as her whimpers and scared cries had woken me soon after I had fallen asleep. Initially, I was happy that she had felt comfortable enough to tell me what her nightmare had been about, but the moment she mentioned a monster, my heart was filled with dread.
Especially when she had said "he" and explained that she thought it was her mind creating a monster from George.
What if she knew more about the vampires than I thought?
I had no intention of letting her go to her own room after what she had disclosed to me, but she was so insistent and I didn't want to force her to stay with me.
I finally agreed and walked her back to her room, but there was zero chance I was letting her walk inside before I had stolen one more kiss from her.
