As I sat waiting for Lola to change, I couldn't help but feel guilty for lying to her about George.
She has been through so much emotionally and physically the last few days, and she doesn't need this on top of everything else.
I know in my heart that Drew is right, and I shouldn't keep this from her, but I just know she doesn't know anything that would help and until Drew finds out more, in my honest opinion, it's just giving her one more thing to worry about.
She is already scared about going to school. Why add to her worries?
I was surprised she agreed so easily to going to school today, and it made me feel good that her decision was clearly swayed when I said I was going to be with her the whole time. Maybe, just maybe she was beginning to trust me a bit more.
