I was so excited. I had been wanting to ask Lara—but I thought maybe she was planning to surprise me so she couldn't tell me that she was pregnant.
"About what? Hmm? There's nothing—what is that?" she asked back at me. Doesn't she remember that she was pregnant? Why is that—it's like she has no intention of letting me know that she's pregnant?
