"You should be afraid of me," the Alpha warned, his eyes flashing a terrifying, unnatural crimson as the beast beneath his skin threatened to break free. "I am a monster, Marina. My blood ruins everything it touches."

I looked at the blood on his hands, then at the violently shaking Alpha who had brought entire packs to their knees.

"I'm not afraid," I whispered, reaching out to press my hand against his chest. "Because you are my mate."

Marina has spent her entire life as the pack’s punching bag. Branded as a "worthless Omega," she survives on scraps, forced to endure the daily humiliation and cruelty of the Alphas she serves. She knows her place. Keep her head down. Don't fight back.

But her wretched existence shatters the day Roland Barclay steps into her territory.

Roland is a ruthless, terrifying Alpha and the last of the legendary Blood 'D' species. He carries a volatile, cursed bloodline that grants him world-ending power—a power that is slowly, inevitably driving him mad. He is lethal. He is untouchable.

And his wolf just claimed the weakest Omega in the room as his fated mate.

Terrified that his violent 'Blood Rage' will tear her apart, Roland viciously fights the bond, pushing Marina away to protect her from himself. But the harder he pushes, the stronger the pull becomes.

When rival hunters and a ruthless tyrant descend on the pack, a shocking truth is forced into the light. Marina's touch is the only thing that can calm the monster inside Roland. Because she isn't a weak Omega at all. An ancient, glowing mark on her skin proves she is the long-lost "Keeper" of the forgotten Blood 'M' line.

Hunted for a power she doesn't understand, Marina must make a choice. She can remain the cowering, abused girl everyone hated... or she can unlock a magic the world hasn't seen in centuries, save her mate from the beast within, and rise to become a Queen.

He was born to be a ruthless King. She was destined to be his salvation.

What to Expect:

Fated Mates with a Twist: An intense push-and-pull dynamic where he rejects the bond to protect her, not because he hates her.

Zero to Hero: Watch Marina evolve from an abused, submissive Omega into a fierce, battlefield Queen.

Grumpy x Sunshine / Touch Her and Die: A terrifying, morally gray Alpha who will burn the world down for his mate, even as he fears his own power.

Deep Lore & Mystery: Ancient bloodlines, hidden powers, forgotten prophecies, and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to steal them.

Chapter 1: The Stain on the Silver Moon Pack
Marina's POV The lowest rung of hell didn't burn with fire. It smelled like spilled ale, roasted venison, and the suffocating, arrogant musk of sixty unhinged Alphas. My arms trembled as I hoisted the massive silver tray higher, the muscles in my shoulders screaming in protest. The Great Hall of the Silver Moon Pack was a cavernous, deafening space built for giants, and tonight, it was packed to the rafters. It was the night of the Winter Solstice Feast, the one night a year when the highest-ranking members of our pack gorged themselves on meat and wine to celebrate their own superiority. And then there was me. I kept my head down, my gaze fixed firmly on the scuffed wooden floorboards beneath my worn boots. Don’t make eye contact. Don’t speak unless spoken to. Don't exist. Those were the rules of my survival. I was an Omega, but not just any Omega. I was the lowest of the low, the runt, the orphan stray taken in and out of pity and treated like a stain on the pack's pristine reputation. "More ale, worthless!" a voice bellowed to my left. I flinched, my wolf instinctively retreating to the darkest corner of my mind. It didn't take much for her to hide these days. Years of submission had all but broken her spirit. "Coming, Beta Torin," I murmured, my voice barely a whisper against the roar of the drunken crowd. I navigated the labyrinth of heavy oak tables, my heart hammering against my ribs. The air was thick with the scent of dominance, a heavy, oppressive weight that pressed down on my lungs and made it hard to breathe. To them, I was invisible until I was useful, and the moment I stopped being useful, I became a target. I reached Torin’s table, my hands shaking as I reached for the heavy clay pitcher. But I never made it. A thick, muscular leg shot out from beneath the bench. My shin connected with solid bone, and the world tilted sideways. Time seemed to slow down as the massive silver tray slipped from my grasp. The deafening crash of metal hitting wood echoed through the hall, followed by the sickening splash of hot gravy and roasted meat splattering across the polished boots of the worst Alpha in the room. Gregor. The hall plunged into a chilling, instantaneous silence. The raucous laughter died in the throats of the pack members. The only sound left was the rapid, terrified thumping of my own heart. I scrambled to my hands and knees, my fingers desperately clawing at the spilled food, the grease burning my skin. "I'm sorry," I gasped, my voice trembling so violently I could barely form the words. "I'm so sorry, Alpha Gregor. I'll clean it. I'll clean it right now." A heavy boot slammed down on my hand, pinning it to the floorboards. A choked cry ripped from my throat as the bones in my fingers ground together under the immense pressure. I squeezed my eyes shut, fighting back the hot sting of tears. Omegas weren't allowed to cry. Crying was a challenge. Crying meant you thought you didn't deserve the punishment. "Look at this," Gregor sneered, his voice a low, gravelly rumble that sent a tremor of pure terror down my spine. "The little stray can't even carry a plate without making a mess of herself." He leaned down, the stench of stale beer and rotting meat rolling off his breath. His massive hand grabbed a fistful of my hair, yanking my head back so viciously I thought my neck would snap. My eyes flew open, meeting his cruel, yellow gaze. "You are a disgrace to the werewolf race, Marina," he spat, his saliva hitting my cheek. "You have no strength. You have no speed. You don't even have a scent worth noticing. You are the weakest, most pathetic excuse for a wolf I have ever seen." Murmurs of agreement rippled through the hall. Some of the females giggled behind their hands. The other Omegas looked away, their faces pale, silently praying they wouldn't be next. No one was going to help me. No one ever did. "You're right," I choked out, forcing the words through a tight, restricted throat. It was the only way to survive. Agree. Submit. Make yourself smaller. "I am worthless, Alpha." "Say it louder," Gregor demanded, twisting his fist in my hair. Pain exploded across my scalp, a blinding, white-hot agony that made my vision swim. "I am worthless," I cried out, the humiliating words echoing in the silent hall. Gregor laughed, a cruel, barking sound that made my stomach churn. "Throw her in the kitchens. Let her scrub the floors with a toothbrush until her hands bleed. Maybe that will teach her how to walk on two legs." He shoved my head forward, releasing my hair with a violent shove. I collapsed onto the floor, my cheek slamming into the grease-stained wood. The breath was knocked out of my lungs, leaving me gasping for air like a dying fish. But as I lay there, trembling and humiliated, something impossible happened. A sudden, searing heat flared at the base of my neck. It wasn't the stinging pain of Gregor's abuse. This was different. It felt as though someone had pressed a white-hot branding iron against the weird, jagged birthmark hidden beneath the collar of my ragged shirt. The mark I had spent my entire life trying to scrub away. The mark that looked like a crescent moon tangled in thorny vines. I gasped, my hand instinctively flying to my neck. The skin was boiling. For a terrifying, exhilarating fraction of a second, the heat didn't feel like pain. It felt like power. A violent, crackling energy surged through my veins, tasting faintly of ozone and ancient earth. My broken, submissive wolf suddenly snarled in the back of my mind, a vicious, bloodthirsty sound that shocked me to my core. Kill him, she whispered. I squeezed my eyes shut, terrified. No. Stop. I shoved the feeling down, burying it under years of practiced fear and submission. Whatever that heat was, it was dangerous. It was wrong. Omegas didn't have power. Omegas didn't fight back. The burning slowly receded to a dull, throbbing ache, leaving me entirely drained and hollowed out on the floorboards. "Get up, trash," Gregor barked, lifting his foot to deliver a swift kick to my ribs. I braced myself for the impact, curling into a tight ball. But the blow never came. Instead, a sound echoed through the Great Hall that froze the blood in my veins. It was the heavy, booming thud of the massive iron doors being thrown open, the hinges screaming in protest. But it wasn't the sound that stopped Gregor. It was the air. The temperature in the room plummeted in an instant. The roaring fires in the hearths flickered and dimmed, as if the oxygen had been violently sucked from the room. A suffocating, terrifying pressure slammed into the hall, so heavy it physically forced me flat against the floorboards. This wasn't just dominance. This was annihilation. All around me, the sounds of the pack changed. The arrogant murmurs and cruel laughter vanished, replaced by the sickening sound of knees hitting the floor. Gregor, the brutal, terrifying Alpha who had just been holding my life in his hands, let out a pathetic, high-pitched whimper. I opened my eyes just in time to see his massive frame collapse to the ground, his forehead pressed against the spilled gravy, his body trembling uncontrollably. Every single wolf in the room was on the floor. I couldn't move. The pressure in the air was so dense it felt like I was drowning in an ocean of black ice. My wolf wasn't just hiding anymore; she was completely silent, paralyzed by a primal, ancestral terror that defied logic. Heavy, deliberate footsteps echoed on the stone entryway, cutting through the absolute silence like thunderclaps. Step. Step. Step. I forced my head to turn, my cheek dragging against the wood, fighting the overwhelming instinct to close my eyes and play dead. Through the corridor of kneeling, trembling bodies, three figures stepped into the light of the Great Hall. Two of them were massive warriors, their eyes glowing a predatory amber, their hands resting on the hilts of silver blades strapped to their thighs. But it was the man walking between them that commanded the terror in the room. He was devastatingly tall, broad-shouldered, and draped in a long, dark coat that seemed to absorb the dim light of the hall. His face was sculpted from harsh, unforgiving angles—a sharp jawline, high cheekbones, and dark hair that fell messily over a forehead scarred by violence. But it was his eyes that stole the breath from my lungs. They weren't the gold or amber of a normal Alpha. They were dark. Too dark. And as he swept his gaze over the kneeling pack, a terrifying, unnatural rim of crimson flared in his irises. It was a color that didn't belong in nature. A color that promised death. "Alpha Gregor," the stranger’s voice was smooth, dark, and colder than a winter grave. It didn't boom, yet it vibrated in the marrow of my bones. "I was told there was a gathering. I hope you don't mind the intrusion." Gregor didn't look up. He didn't dare. "N-no, Alpha Barclay. Our home is your home." Barclay. The name echoed in my mind, sending a fresh wave of terror through my already bruised body. Roland Barclay. The Alpha of the Obsidian Pack. A man who wasn't just rumored to be ruthless—he was rumored to be a monster. A bloodline curse. A walking executioner. Roland’s crimson-rimmed eyes scanned the room, lingering on the pathetic, cowering forms of the Silver Moon Alphas with absolute disgust. And then, his gaze stopped. Out of sixty wolves. Out of all the high-ranking members bowing before him. His eyes locked directly onto me, a broken, gravy-stained Omega lying on the floor. The breath hitched in his chest. His towering frame went completely rigid. I saw his hands clench into fists at his sides, the leather of his gloves creaking loudly in the silent room. The suffocating pressure in the hall suddenly spiked, turning frantic, possessive, and wildly unstable. The birthmark on the back of my neck, which had been dull and aching, suddenly ignited with a blinding, agonizing fire. Roland took a step forward, his crimson eyes never leaving mine. I couldn't look away. I was trapped in the gravity of a man who looked like he wanted to tear the world apart, and for one terrifying, impossible second, I realized he was looking at me as if I was the only reason he hadn't done it yet.
