Chapter 29 “Thank you all for coming on short notice. It isn’t an urgent situation but I wanted to discuss something with you.” Mary looked at Cody and smiled. She knew, with that child, she had the family hooked. “We have a client who is eighteen and due in a few months. She doesn’t feel she is able to raise a child.” Cody and Maria simultaneously erupted. “We’re going to get a sister.” They gave each other a high-five. “Let’s not jump to conclusions. The mother doesn’t want to know if she has a girl or boy so we won’t know until the time of birth. That won’t happen for a while yet.
