Cody’s mouth hung wide open as he looked at the size of the house. His eyes were as big as saucers. He scooted a little closer to George and held Moe a bit tighter. Patti was at the door to greet them all. Alicia and Dwayne soon joined them. Everyone piled inside and Peter began the introductions. Peter’s parents were clearly delighted to meet Cody in person. Dwayne led everyone to the family room. Moe was allowed to wander and explore. Alicia noticed that Cody was uncomfortable with all the adults around.
“Hey, Cody, how about I give you a tour of the house. I’ll show you Peter’s old room. Maybe he still has some stuff we can play with.”
