Chapter 8
Peter was at his clinic when George and Russell came in. He was with a patient, but Trevor, Helen, and Bernice got to meet and greet father and son. Trevor had discussed the chemotherapy with Dr. Thompson. They decided it would be done at the clinic. Russell would be there for a couple of hours a week for three months. He’d confirmed this with Russell while George spent a lot of time talking with Bernice. Peter joined the group when his patient left. He walked over to give Russell a hug and kiss. George turned to Bernice.
“It’s gonna take me a while to get used to seeing that.” George blushed.
