"Bye Patricia," Grace said as she waved Patricia goodbye. Patricia was seated on the bench by the school field waiting for their dad to come to pick them while her brother, Patrick frolics with his girlfriend.
"Bye, Grace," Patricia said back softly as she smiled at Grace.
"I'll call you when I get home," Grace said to Patrick as she gave him a soft kiss on the cheek.
"Alright love" Patrick retorted smiling brightly.
"What's wrong?" Patrick asked as he took his seat beside her, noticing the worried look on her face.
"Nothing" she replied while forcing out a smile.
"Nope. That does not look like the face of someone happy" Patrick insisted
"I'm serious. There's nothing wrong" Patricia insisted too still faking her smile.
