"After Zulu made us the war had continued on she hated to see her people suffering so she created the Ukupela as a quick and fast fix to a millennia-long war they came out flawed. The Ukupela wasn't submissive to Zulu, more so rebellious and resentful. To punish them Zulu-" the Indala's voice drifted off as her eyes veered towards the window and her mind wondering what her life would be if she was one of the pups playing outside. They ran around playing a game she doesn't know the name of but one person would run around chasing someone and if they touch them that person now runs about chasing the other. One boy in particular never got caught he evaded everyone he was faster than all the other pups. The boy caught her staring and decided to wave distracted he was caught by another boy wolf as she rose her hand to wave back. "what are you doing?" "Indala Cayman I was just looking-" I stammered. "Shut up!" He yelled raising his hand slapping me out of my seat to the ground a growl slipping through my lips. " I take time out of my day to teach you the ways of the warriors because you show so much promise, right now I don't see what the rest see in you." Indala cayman said pacing back and forth. "You are Inkosi! You act nothing like your mother or father! But I have other ways for you to connect with each lesson. Since you don't like reading or listening to me how about a more direct approach." He said laughing. Indala Cayman snatched me up by my hair, dragged me out the door by my arm he marched outside. Walking past the pups who all stopped playing to perform a submissive position tail tucked between their legs, ears back against their head, eyes and head low. Indala Cayman growled his approval releasing them from their positions. They stared at me some looks of pity others just curious then the whispers started as low as they were I could still hear them questioning who I was, how I was supposed to be the Inkosi that brought them freedom, That I was much darker than they could ever imagine. I closed my eyes hiding from the inquisitive glares wishing I could shut off my hearing too. I opened my eyes again when I couldn't hear the pup's voices anymore looking around I saw the forest I haven't been out here since my parents died all the Indala took it upon themselves to teach and train me personally since I was the only Inkosi left. I appreciated their effort but I miss my parents dearly and if being Inkosi brought on imminent death, and your children left with a hole in their hearts then I didn't want to be Inkosi. I didn't listen during my teachings with the Indala's, I didn't pay attention during training, I wasn't living in my destiny as Indala Elene would say. I didn't want this burden, I couldn't do this alone I didn't want to do this without my parents. We came upon a heavily vegetated area but Indala Cayman came across the one spot without a bush or some form of roughage he stomped his foot twice and then a brief pause as he stomped his foot three more times the forest floor lifted my eyes grew huge because I wasn't aware of an underground bunker. He pushed me into the opening I screamed as I flopped onto the ground Indala coming in right after me landing gracefully. "What is she doing here Cayman?" Indala Elene asked. "She won't focus in class and she won't focus on training, your methods of coddling haven't worked so I will take matters into my own hands, Elene." "No, she is a child you can't put her in there." Elene tried to reason. "We are at war Elene we don't have time to empathize with her so what she lost her parents so have thousands of pack members and she is our last chance and I won't spend another second wasting our time on her being depressed. She is Inkosi like her parents but she is stronger her skin and her eyes immolate that of Zulu. This girl is our last hope to save Sayari if she doesn't want to be Inkosi I will make her Inkosi." By now Indala Khari has also joined in he is the head of the three Indala. "Cayman is right Elene we have no other choice." Indala Khari said. Both Indala cayman and Indala Khari grabbed one of my arms ushering me to a door. The door was black built with a thick metal that seemed impenetrable. "What is inside?" I asked looking up at Indala Khari. "Inside is either your beginning tour wars end our the beginning to our end." When he finished speaking the door slid open they pushed me in. Stumbling inside it took a while for my eyes to just to the newfound darkness I crept in further as I felt a wind rush behind me then did I feel a cut on my arm jumping around with a startled scream. "Hey stop that!" I growled. A cryptic laugh bounced off the walls, I couldn't pinpoint where the noise was coming from my eyes searching, breathing heavy I was scared. "Indala Elene!" I shouted. Turning my back I pounded my fists against the door. Another gust of wind behind me then another scratch appearing deeper this time along my back. I screamed whirling around crying. "Stop it please." I whispered tears falling from my eyes. "Make me." I heard right beside my ear, I could feel their breath tickling the side of my face, the foul smell making my face frown up. Another scratch this time on my thigh. "I don't care why they brought you in here but this will be my treat killing a Inkosi. You haven't put up much of a fight which takes all the fun out of it." The voice said laughing. A hard punch to my face sent my little body flying back into the steal wall my head ricocheted off of it. My heads flew to my eye my lips trembling not knowing what to do and fearing that this is how I would die. "Let me out please!" I screamed. This evil being appeared on top of me I couldn't make out the details of its body but those red eyes looked deep into my soul pinning my body to the ground I thrashed under it screaming, crying putting my all into getting away. This beast leaned in slowly dragging out my terror and slowly bit its fangs into my arm I could feel it pierce through my skin, then my muscles, tearing through tissue and finally got to bone my body succumbed to the pain I could faintly hear the door open and Indala Elene yell for someone to get me out. All felt was pain as someone lifted my body up in the background I heard the beast growl and hiss but I was relieved to be rescued. "You will listen from now on Hala or we will leave you in there with him and we won't stop him the next time." Indala Cayman sneered "No don't put me back in there please!" I screamed forgetting my pain anxiety and fear guiding the next movements I grabbed at Indala Cayman staring him in the eyes. " I didn't want to do this Hala but you have to be Inkosi or I will make you Inkosi am I understood?" "Yes, anything you want just don't put me back in there." Indala Elene came into view glaring at Indala Cayman. "Let her rest, she has been traumatized enough today. Cayman." "No she must understand we are serious intense training must be immensed." "I agree with Cayman Elene her wounds will heal." "Once they patch her up we will continue with the lesson we started today." Any conversation after that I didn't hear my body shut down pain taking over. "Hala." I heard a sweet voice call. "Hala wake up." "Hala get up before Cayman comes in here!" The voice said urgently. I shot up like a light remembering what he put me through looking around wildly my breathing became labored. "Hala listen to me!" Indala Elene said grabbing my face. "I volunteered to do all your teachings from now on but your training will be done by Cayman." "But-."I stammered. "Hala you don't have a say anymore you know more than anybody that I don't agree with their methods but it is true you have been neglecting your duties and I have been coddling you we need to c***k down Sayari depends on you and its time you start acting like it and if you don't you know what will happen to you." "Okay, Indala Elene. I am ready to be Inkosi." I said the threat of putting me back into that room with that thing hanging over my head was enough to set me straight. "Good." She said nodding. "Now Cayman told me you left off learning about the Ukupela." "Yes, Indala Elene."  "Okay, so Zulu created the Ukupela to aide us in the war. She wanted to make them more powerful to annihilate the threat to her people and defeat Langa once and for all. What she didn't expect was for them to come out dominant not even Zulu could make them submit. They are Vicious savage beasts with no moral compass. To punish the Ukupela Zulu took away the one thing we value, it determines your strength and your direct lineage to Zulu. What do you think that is?" "Our dark skin?" "Yes! So the Ukupela are pale like the Okubi. Stripping them of their pride so as revenge the Ukupela chose not to help us." "Why would they do that? Arent the Okubi killing them too?" "No one knows what went wrong with the Ukupela and how Zulu could make a mistake like that. But we have figured out a way to make them submit so we have to track them down and force submission to obey Zulu and help win the war."  "How do we force submission?"  "Never mind that." Elene said shaking her head. Sayari- the world that they live in  Umoya- spirit: their wolf spirit  Indala- old/elder Inkosi-king( royalty) Ukupela- spell( the albino wolf) Zulu- the name of the goddess of the moon ruler of Umoya Langa- the name of the goddess of the sun Okubi- evil (the species the Umoya fight against) I told you guys it will be hints to the future chapters and some eye opener's well i have given you a hint so just keep this part in mind also drop what you think the hint was in this chapter in the comments.
