All Things Come to One Who Waits
Lacey waited on the boardwalk. The heat of the day had mostly passed and she was waiting for Louis to bring her bay up from the stable. They planned to go riding on the other side of the river. They had become very close over the last couple months, and she was always glad to see him coming.
She had made a deal with Seth for the use of the hot water he had discovered under the hotel. She might could have claimed it without a deal, as it was under her property, but the thought never occurred to her.
