Snoop Versus Snoop
Once out of the hole, Seth made a beeline for the hotel. It was pushing eleven in the morning by the time he got a bath and came in. Lacey saw him come in and wasn’t busy, so she went over to his table right away.
“Mornin Seth,” she said. “What do ya know?”
Seth was smiling as usual. He had his arms folded over his chest. He had on a new blue shirt and clean pants. He had left a new hat he just bought in his room. It had gotten dirty in the cave and he wanted to look good. He had news.
Lacey could see he was feeling proud about something.
