Her one and only

Ever wondered why somethings happens?... why does the sun shine every morning? why do people do the things they do?..or better still why do parents give birth to children and leave them to fend for themselves? This has been my questions from the beginning of my days!! I'm sure I asked myself this when my parents left me in the gate of an orphanage when I was still a baby!! But that's all in the past now. Things are better for me now , I have my own house and a family of my own. But anyway this is my story. My name is Alice I lived in an orphanage in cape town for years until Mrs Richardson adopted me. She was like the richest person I know and plus who else would I know since everyone I know is from the orphanage right? we were all poor and broke!! but most importantly we had no parents!!!...never felt love... that's like the worst type of not being rich !!! I had both good and bad memories in that orphanage, and man!! finally getting adopted? was the best of them all. I did ask myself Questions though... I mean why would a rich lady want me ? me of all the babies and toddlers in that place ? sounded so pathetic. I was about 12 years old when she took me in.Her husband was late so She lived with her sister (ms Candice)and her two daughters ( bolly and Bianca). apparently Ms Candice was a single mom , and boy that lady never liked me !! always wondered why though but who cares right ? Mrs Richardson showed me so much love you'd even think I'm her real daughter! . she'd buy me a lot of expensive clothes and jewellery. But most importantly she enrolled me in the same school as bolly and Bianca. The orphanage can limit a person's chances of being educated sometimes. And I just wanted to be educated just like Mrs Richardson. The day were I had to go to school arrived . And guys Highschool is not a joke !! That place was so beautiful until I finished the first week there!! During my second week something unexpected happened!!..
