Forty: ReedI felt like I was trying to walk under water. I wanted to leave but never leave at the same time. I saw Rowyn hanging back behind the huddle of people around Rose's family. My hand came to rest on her back, and she flinched. “I'm sorry,” she breathed, looking up at me. “You scared me.
