Marena's POV

    I saw Ryan pull up, and for not knowing him very well ever since that kiss last night, I couldn't help but feel the mate bond pull to him.  He was so sexy, but he didn't know it.  He stood 6'3", broad shoulders, dark blonde hair, tan skin, bright blue eyes, muscular, and his wolf Ryker shifted Mina into a horny b***h, who am I kidding we are a horny b***h.  Ryan smiled when he saw me, and that warmed my heart and made me smile; I had been running patrols since I arrived, so I just showered and threw on a maxi dress because I knew it wasn't going to be on for very long.

    Ryan looked at me when I pulled away and said: "I have something to show you before anything happens."  Ryan looked at me suspiciously and decided to follow me deeper into the Bayou.  "Ryan, do you know why I chose to come to the Bayou," I asked.  He looked at me, then moved closer to me, grasping my hand, "To get away from Colton?"  I chucked, but he looked at me with his adoring eyes, "Ryan, I'm sure you have heard that I'm a witch on top of being an Alpha female, but I want to show you what I've been through."  Ryan stood there looking at me,  " I uh...I don't know what you mean."  "Ryan, I can show you the past without being present, I've wanted to share with someone, but I never knew who I could trust.  Ryan, can I trust you?"  "Marena, of course, you can trust me.  You may not have known me very long, but I promise I would never do anything to hurt you or to cause you pain," he said.  I thought that's all I needed to know, and it makes me realize he would make a great leader as well for my pack.

    I grasped ahold of both of Ryan's hands, "Don't let go, no matter what."  Ryan was nervous; I could smell it, but I didn't call him out on it.  

I shut my eyes, and Mina stepped back into the dark corner, so my inner witch Mia could take over.

I tightened my hold on Ryan's hands; s**t was about to get real.  I'm sorry I couldn't just tell you, Ryan, but he's your best friend and a monster I said in my head.

I watched as Ryan's eyes flickered while they are shut, and how his face went pale.  I could feel his hands loosen on mine, but he quickly grabbed hold of them again.  He saw what I saw, the next person I will need to show is Father, but that's going to be tricky if I don't go back there.  Cain needs to go away for good; she could feel Mina trying to communicate with Mia.  My heart already belongs to Ry and Colton, but things need to change.
