The new friend

It's been a while since Marcial met a friend whom he trust and feel comfortable to.

He was a kid when he first met his first and only friend Archeus. They are very close to each other, they play games together, eat foods together and sometimes they sleep together.

Marcial and Archeus know each other's secrets because they trust each other.

But their friendship didn't last that long.

One time Marcial met a group of bullies, they insult Marcial and they even hurt him physically.

Archeus saw what happens to Marcial but he didn't dare to help his friend because he is afraid that the bullies might also hurt him.

"I'll just walk away and pretend that I didn't know that weak," Archeus whispered.

Marcial got angry to Archeus after his friend ignored and didn't help him.

The next day Archeus approach Marcial and ask if he's okay. But Marcial just ignored him as if he did not know Archeus.

"Marcial?.... Bro are you angry at me?" Archeus asked.

Marcial look at him with an angry face.

"You promised that we will save each other when someone hurt ones of us..... but you.... lie to me," said Marcial while his tears are flowing.

Archeus ask his friend to forgive him for being a scaredy cat. Marcial didn't forgive Archeus instead he told him that starting that day they will pretend that they didn't met and they don't know each other.

Archeus was hurt by the words of his friend, he blame himself for losing his one and only friend because of his wrong decision.

Marcial's family also find a new house which is very far from the place of Archeus.

Before Marcial leave, Archeus visits him at night to say goodbye but his friend didn't talk to him.

The pain that Marcial was suffering for a long time because he is longing for a friend suddenly replace with happiness.

Marko was the first person who bravely saves Marcial from a group of strangers.

Marcial realizes that not all people will ignor him when he needs help, some will fight for him and protect him.

"I think I will learn to be close with other people after this day, hahahahahah," said Marcial

The next day, when Marcial go to his work he immediately approach Marko to thank him for saving him last time.

"Um excuse me, take this as part of my thank you for saving me," Marcial told Marko.

"No problem, we are co workers and friends right? So it's my job to rescue you," Marko said.

"Does your wounds still hurt?"

"Just a little bit," Marcial replied.

After what he hear Marcial is so happy and somewhat afraid because someone look at him as a friend and because Marko might also ignore him in the end.

Marcial remembered his old friend Archeus, he also felt the same happiness when he met Archeus before.

Marcial somewhat afraid to be more close with Marko because he is scared that the past might repeat itself.

At first Marcial just observed the characteristics and the way Marko socialize with other people.

The way Marcial saw Marko, he was amazed by the kindness and honesty of his co worker so he thought to try making friends with Marko.

He promised to himself that if Marko will also ignore him just like his old friend did before when he is in trouble he will not make friends with others anymore.

Marko is a very funny and honest man and it became the reason why Marcial became comfortable with him quick.

After their work Marko walk with Marcial on the way.

"Do you have any friends Marcial?" asked Marko.

"I have no friends because I don't trust anyone," Marcial replied to his co worker.

Marko was shocked to hear the statement of Marcial so he is curious to know the reason why he do not trust anyone.

"May I ask why?" said Marko.

Marcial told him that it is a long story but his co worker insist to know the reason so the two stopped at a nearby convenience store.

Marcial started to tell the whole story to Marko, he told where and how he met his first friend Archeus.

He was a kid that time when he first socialize with other kid who's same age with him. He also told how close they were before.

Marko asked Marcial the reason why him and Archeus separate and lost their friendship.

"It was because he did not save me and ignored me," said Marcial in anger.

Marko feel sorry for Marcial after hearing his story. So he did everything to be friends with Marcial.

Day by day he makes Marcial happy so that they will be comfortable to each other and became close.

The hard work of Marko pay off because he became friends with Marcial. They became close to each other and treat each other as brothers.

Marko promised his friend that he will not do the same mistake that Archeus have done. Marcial give his trust to Marko.

Every day the two goes to work they walk together and at night they drink together.

One day when the two are on their way to their work, Marcial met a familiar face.

"What's up my friend?" the man asked Marcial.

When Marcial look he saw Archeus, his old friend. He was shock to see his childhood friend and his anger to him did not gone.

"What are you doing here?" Marcial asked.

"I'm finding you because I want to ask for your forgiveness," Archeus replied.

But still Marcial did not forgive him because of the pain he suffered. Marko cut the conversation of the two.

"Who are you?" Archeus asked Marko.

Marko answered the question with a big smile and said that he is the new friend of Marcial.

"So you find a new companion?" said Archeus.

Marcial was shocked when he hear what Marko told his old friend.

Then Marko pull Marcial and told him that they will be late on their work. The two left Archeus and continue their walk.

Archeus felt sad when Marcial left him without having a long conversation with him.
