Regret and Accept the reality

"I should've have learn to appreciate everyone around me," said the crying Marcial.

"If I can change the past I would not ignore every person I encounter."

Marcial blame himself for what happens to him. His anger to the fairy was gone, instead he regret all the bad things he did in his life.

He accept the fact that he will not be able to regain his old life anymore and he will just live with his present self forever.

Marcial don't have enough money after he spent all of his saving for surgery and for the help of the shaman.

So the next morning he decided to look for a job, while walking he saw a poster of a restaurant in a wall which is looking for a janitor.

At first he is very afraid of applying, but he gather all of his strength and build his confidence to talk to the restaurant owner.

When the owner saw the awful face of Marcial he felt disgusted, Marcial saw the reaction of the owner so he decided to leave the place.

When Marcial is about to leave the room the owner stopped him.

"Where are you going?" the owner asked the leaving man.

"I think I don't belong in this place because of my appearance so I'm leaving and find another job," Marcial replied.

The owner asked Marcial what happened to his face. And he said that "You won't believe be if I tell you what really happened."

The owner listened carefully to the story of Marcial. At first he doesn't believe in the story of the applicant but when he felt the sincerity of the man he started to believe that it really happens.

After the owner interviewed Marcial he accepts his application.

Marcial can't believe that the owner accept him.

"Why sir?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" the owner replied.

"Why did you accept the application of the man who looks not trustworthy and awful?" Marcial question.

But the owner did not answer him.

The next day, the owner introduce Marcial to his other co workers. Marcial is very nervous to meet his new co workers because they might laugh at his appearance.

But he is surprised that when his co workers saw his face they did not laugh at him instead they look at his face with curiosity.

"Why is your face like that?" one of his co workers asked him.

Marcial told them that it's a long story, and they return to there places.

After Marcial saw the reactions of his co workers he became surprised because they accepted him with his awful appearance.

Marcial thought that not all the people will judge him because of his appearance. Some will accept him and respect him.

Marcial remember the time wherein in his old job there is a new applicant. The applicant's appearance is not pleasant because he looks dirty.

Marcial laugh at the new applicant and he always bully him every time Marcial saw the new applicant.

Tears flow from his eyes after he realizes that what he did before is very bad and disrespectful.

"I should have respect the new applicant before in my past job." he whisper to himself.

Marcial already became close with his co workers on his first week in his job.

He saw that his co workers doesn't care what his appearance is instead he treat him as a normal person with a normal appearance.

Marcial is very happy in his new job because there he meet new friends who accept him whatever his appearance look.

The fairy saw the changes in the characteristics of Marcial.

"Now you know how to make friends with other people." the fairy said.

One night the fairy showed up to Marcial, the fairy smiled at him and said that he learn the first value she wants Marcial to know.

Marcial is confused in what the fairy told him. So he asked the fairy.

"What do you mean?"

"You now know how to make friends with other people," the fairy answered.

This make Marcial happy because he felt that he became a new person.

Marcial thanks the fairy because he became a new person after the fairy punished him.

And the fairy left Marcial.

The next morning, while Marcial is walking to his work, he saw an old lady carrying a heavy basket filled with vegetables and fruits.

He help the old lady carry the bag to her destination.

While helping the old lady, he remember the day when he bump to the old lady before because he is in a hurry. He realizes that he should have prioritize helping the old lady instead of his own sake.

"Thank you for helping an old lady, you are a kind man," the old lady told Marcial with a big smile.

Marcial continue his walk to his job. When he arrived he greet all of his co workers with a big smile.

His co workers feel different because Marcial is very happy unlike before when they first met him.

"Did something good happen Marcial?" one of his co workers asked the happy man.

"Nothing it's just that I am thankful to have a friends like all of you," Marcial replied and smiled.

Marcial started to clean the tables and the floor.

After his work, Marcial decided to go to a conveniece store to buy some foods and drinks.

A group of man saw him and they started to insult him because of his appearance.

Marcial felt terrified and sad because he was insult by his appearance.

One of his co worker Marko was walking near where Marcial is and he saw that the group of men was insulting his co worker.

So Marko go and help his friends from the bad guys. When the group of men saw Marko coming they run.

"Why did you let them insult you?" Marko asked Marcial.

Marcial told him that it is alright because he already accepted that he will be prone to insults due to his appearance.

"Next time when someone is insulting you call me ok?" Marko told him.

Marcial cried and told his co worker that he is thankful because he accepted him even his appearance is awful.

And Marko told him that he respect and accept Marcial because he is one of his friends and co workers.

Then the two walk to their home.
