**Story Description:**In a realm where demigods and mythical creatures coexist, **Vaelzareth**, the formidable Demon God Lord, rules alongside his ethereal male consort, **Nytheris**, the Demigod of Mythical Creatures. Together, they are the biological parents of **Sylric**, a curious and compassionate young prince who dreams of exploring the forbidden mortal realm. Despite their divine power and love for their son, Vaelzareth’s deep-seated hatred for mortals—rooted in the tragic death of his parents—creates tension within their family. When Sylric defies his father’s warnings and ventures into the mortal world, he accidentally crosses paths with **Alexander Min**, a half-mortal, half-god leader of hunters who is as distrustful as he is brave. chapter 1 the stubs prince
Chapter 1 In the land of mythical creatures, demigods peacefully coexist. This land is unseen in the mortal realm—a beautiful place, like heaven itself. A grand shrine-style castle stands tall, crafted from materials so exquisite they don’t exist in the normal world. It’s a peaceful night. Two beautiful moons hang in the sky, casting a unique and enchanting atmosphere. In this realm lives a Demon God Lord, known as the Demigod Lord. He is strong, powerful, and radiates an ethereal presence. His long, slightly wavy hair is streaked with dark green and white, complementing his almond-shaped eyes, sharp nose, and kissable lips. His ivory skin glows softly, and his forehead is adorned with crystal jewelry. He sits on a royal throne designed like a peacock’s tail, exuding a powerful aura. His name is Vaelzareth. On his shoulder rests a tattoo—a design that suits his regal demeanor (perhaps something intricate and symbolic, like a serpent or a celestial pattern). Meanwhile, his child, Sylric, sneaks behind him, heading to his own room. Sylric, the prince of their land, wears an outfit similar to his father’s but in a different color. He shares the same eye color, though Sylric’s are a striking emerald green. Handsome like his father but younger, Sylric is about to open his door when he feels a sudden demonic aura behind him. He freezes, swallows hard, and turns to meet the deadly gaze of Vaelzareth. A few moments later, Vaelzareth’s voice booms, echoing through the hall. “Kneel!” Even the creatures outside hear it. Sylric drops to his knees, raising his hands in submission. His emerald hair is slightly messy. Vaelzareth’s tone is a mix of anger and worry. “You didn’t ask permission before leaving! I sent scouts to look for you. Where have you been? Don’t you know how dangerous it is to go alone?!” Nytheris arrives to check on them. Nytheris is Vaelzareth’s male partner, a demigod of mythical creatures. With white hair and a feminine, queenly appearance, he wears an ethereal dress-style outfit. Half-satyr, he is one of the most attractive beings in their realm. “Honey… Oh, Sylric! Where have you been?” Nytheris asks, his voice filled with concern. Vaelzareth snaps, “We were so worried! You didn’t even tell us where you were going!” Sylric replies in a shaky but calm voice, “I went to the mortal realm…” Vaelzareth’s anger flares. “The mortal realm?! Didn’t I forbid you from going there? You know how dangerous it is!” Nytheris, though equally worried, stays silent for a moment before hugging Sylric. “Please, let’s talk about this calmly, love!” Vaelzareth growls, “I gave birth to him! Step aside!” He punishes Sylric by making him sit in mid-air for four hours, leaving him there. Nytheris, frightened, is also punished, standing facing the wall. When Vaelzareth discovers that Nytheris also went to the mortal realm, Nytheris braces himself to face his partner’s wrath. Vaelzareth looks terrifying, but Nytheris closes his eyes and pleads, “Please, honey, let’s talk about this. Communicate with us so we can understand! Please, hon!” Vaelzareth’s expression softens. Nytheris and Sylric hug him tightly. “We love you, please! Tell us,” they cry. Vaelzareth finally relents and hugs them back. A few hours later, he shares his story. “My parents died because of mortals.” Nytheris, sitting beside him, is shocked. “What? But they were mortals…” Vaelzareth explains, “Mortal humans can use magic. That’s what killed my parents. It’s been a long time, but I don’t want to lose you both the way I lost them. That’s why I no longer associate with the mortal realm. They are greedy, even willing to hurt their own kind.” Sylric protests, “But Dad… I believe there’s good and bad in everyone. I truly believe that…” Vaelzareth cuts him off. “No!” Nytheris hugs him and kisses his cheek, then flirts softly. “Sylric, let me talk to your dad. You should rest for now.” Sylric leaves, heading to his room. He looks sad as he enters his chamber. A small creature, a fox named Foxie, emerges from a treasure box. “Your dad’s hatred for humans is understandable,” Foxie says. Sylric stands up and replies, “Yes, I don’t have the right to judge him, but I really want to explore the mortal realm. I believe there are kind humans out there. What I don’t understand is how they could kill immortal beings.” Foxie floats gently and explains, “Mortals can use magic, and some are blessed by gods to do such things.” Sylric nods, beginning to understand. Meanwhile, in Vaelzareth and Nytheris’s royal chamber, they share an intimate moment. Nytheris’s tears fall as they kiss. He looks away and whispers, “I think we need to address the mortal realm issue.” Vaelzareth, jealous, interrupts, “Don’t speak of other matters right now!” He kisses Nytheris deeply, and Nytheris closes his eyes, holding him tightly.Morning comes. Sylric opens his eyes in his bed, stands up, and begins fixing his appearance in the mirror. A few hours later, he steps out of his room and ventures outside to explore once more. The land is bustling with demons and demigods. Sylric greets them cheerfully, “Good morning, everyone!” They bow respectfully in response. “Today is a new day for me. Maybe my dad will allow me to go out today,” Sylric thinks to himself. Just then, someone calls his name. He turns around to see his uncle, Valhazaleth. His uncle has a masculine appearance, with blue ponytail hair, fox-like eyes, and a charming yet strict vibe. “Where are you going? Not to the mortal realm again, I hope. Didn’t we prohibit you from going there?” Valhazaleth asks sternly. Sylric immediately hugs him. “Uncle Val! No, I won’t go there anymore. I just want to explore.” His uncle laughs and pats his head. “Our demonic celestial nymph has grown up so fast.” Sylric looks up at his uncle and excitedly says, “Come with me!” He leads Valhazaleth to a glowing lake, where beautiful lotuses bloom. Sylric’s eyes light up. “Wow… they’ve grown so fast!” Valhazaleth plucks one lotus and hands it to Sylric. “Use this to find your future partner.” Sylric thanks him but hesitates. “Thank you, but I don’t think I’m ready yet.” His uncle smiles warmly. “There’s no need to rush.” Just then, Sylric’s cousin, Wen, arrives and grabs him playfully. Wen, a nymph and god, has been Sylric’s childhood playmate. They run off together, laughing and smiling. --- In the mortal realm, the people of the Darven Kingdom are celebrating outside the palace. Inside, the royal family gathers to celebrate the birth of the fourth prince. The great empress and emperor watch over the newborn, while the noble consort beams with joy. “Congratulations, Your Majesty,” the empress says warmly. The emperor holds the baby boy, but a shadow of darkness looms. Suddenly, the baby’s cries fade, and his life slips away. The royal physician is shocked. “No, this is impossible! The baby was healthy!” The noble consort weeps, clutching her child, while the emperor rages. “You said the baby was healthy!” Unbeknownst to them, far away in the demon mountains, the demon queen devours the baby’s soul. She smiles, her human disguise fading as her eyes turn red. “All of you, our day is about to begin,” she declares to her army. “This world shall no longer belong to mortals—only demons and gods.” Behind her, the statue of the God of Evil smirks ominously. --- Back in Vaenytheris Palace, Wen and Sylric play by a pond, skipping stones across the water. “See, Wen? I’m better at this!” Sylric boasts as his stone skips multiple times. Wen laughs and matches his skill. They both laugh, enjoying the moment. Later, they venture to a dangerous but intriguing mountain. Wen suggests, “Let’s go there!” Sylric hesitates. “It’s too dangerous! We’ll get punished by our parents.” Wen grins. “I know, but let’s keep it a secret.” Sylric reluctantly agrees. They attempt to leave on royal horses but are stopped by guards under Vaelzareth’s orders. Undeterred, they disguise themselves as lower-ranking demons and slip away unnoticed. --- They finally arrive at their destination, running and laughing together. “We fooled them!” Sylric says, still laughing. Wen nods. “We should head back before they realize we’re missing.” As they walk through the forest, they marvel at the beautiful trees and interact with small creatures. Meanwhile, in the palace, Valhazaleth discusses the growing threat in the mortal realm with Vaelzareth. “I know we have grievances against humans, but we must act now. If we don’t, we’ll all be in danger.” Vaelzareth sips his tea, Nytheris by his side. “Tsk… Are their gods so cruel? Why don’t they intervene?” Valhazaleth replies seriously, “You know the gods no longer interfere in the mortal world. They’ve left it to us.” Vaelzareth stands, his voice firm. “I have nothing to do with mortals anymore. My demon blood runs strong.” Valhazaleth counters, “What about your family? Don’t you want to protect them? If we don’t act now…” Vaelzareth exhales deeply and commands, “Gather everyone. We’ll have a meeting.” --- In the forbidden forest, Sylric and Wen continue their adventure. They hide and observe demons feasting on fruits. Suddenly, a massive demon spider looms behind them. Sylric senses its presence and whispers, “Wen, behind us!” They turn and run, chased by the spider. They dodge its webs, but eventually, they’re caught. “Oh no!” Wen exclaims as they struggle to break free. Sylric’s hands begin to glow as he summons a spear with a lotus-designed handle and sharp, flower-like blades. Wen, amazed, uses his ice magic to attack the spider. Together, they defeat it, but their victory is short-lived. The demon leader, enraged, rallies more demons to attack. Wen and Sylric realize they’re outnumbered. “What should we do?!” Wen shouts. Sylric uses his spear to slice the ground, creating a chasm to separate them from the demons. However, the demon leader leaps across and attacks. Sylric can’t dodge in time and falls toward the mortal realm. Wen tries to save him but is stopped by a barrier. “Oh no, they’ve already put up a barrier!” he cries. Sylric accidentally breaks the barrier as he falls, but it quickly repairs itself. Wen attempts to destroy it with his ice magic, but the barrier holds strong. --- In the palace, the noise from the forest alerts everyone. Great Aunt Valheni exclaims, “That noise! My child is in trouble!” Vaelzareth orders, “Find them immediately!” Valhazaleth looks out the window. “They’re in the forbidden forest!” Vaelzareth’s voice rises. “Is my child with him?!” They all rush to the scene, filled with worry. --- Meanwhile, in the mortal realm, a man named Alexander Min, leader of the hunters, stands with his servant, Lim. Alexander’s long hair and decent attire give him a commanding presence. “Vaenytheris Palace still ignores our calls. What do we do?” he asks. Lim sighs. “Poor animals and innocent people suffer in this world.” (Author’s note: This mortal realm is not the same as our world.) Alexander is deeply concerned. “If this continues, even our powers won’t be enough. But with the help of my new companions, the hunters will…” Suddenly, a thunderous crash interrupts him. Sylric has fallen into the mortal realm, creating a massive crack in the ground. Alexander and Lim rush to the scene. Sylric, injured and dizzy, stands up slowly. “Oh no…” he mutters. A large demon appears, but Sylric avoids it and runs. Confused and disoriented, he doesn’t understand what’s happening. A group of mortals accuses him, “That’s the demon in disguise!” They attack him with fire, but Sylric remains unharmed. Frustrated, he creates a fireball, but Alexander arrives and draws his sword. “You’re a demon! You’ve tried to hurt people!” he accuses. Sylric defends himself with his lotus spear. “What? I didn’t—” Alexander attacks again, and Sylric notices his spear glowing with red strings. He dodges and kicks Alexander lightly before running away. Sylric disguises himself as an innocent deer, but Alexander continues the chase relentlessly. Lim calls out, “Boss, wait!” but Alexander is determined.Sylric runs toward the deer, but he quickly realizes that the deer in this world are different from those in his realm. Before he can process this, Alexander swings his thunder-strike sword, narrowly missing him. Sylric dodges just in time, but in their struggle, neither notices the edge of the cliff. They both tumble over, falling into the ocean below. As they hit the water, Sylric’s disguise fades, revealing his original appearance. Alexander, momentarily stunned, notices Sylric’s striking beauty even in the chaos. However, Alexander’s trauma triggers—he can’t swim. Panic sets in as he flails in the water. Sylric, a natural swimmer, begins to swim away but hesitates. He looks back and sees Alexander struggling. Despite the man’s earlier hostility, Sylric decides to save him. He swims back, grabs Alexander, and carries him in a way he’s seen his parents do—gently, like a precious treasure. Using his powers, Sylric leaps out of the water and lands back on the mountain. Sylric lays Alexander down and checks on him. “Oh no, what should I do?” he mutters, noticing the cursed aura of the ocean. He can sense that Alexander is half-mortal and half-god, making the curse particularly dangerous for him. Determined to help, Sylric uses a healing technique. He leans close, their lips almost touching, and channels his energy into Alexander. Hours pass, and Sylric eventually falls asleep beside him. When Alexander opens his eyes, he finds Sylric sleeping on his chest. Startled, he pushes Sylric away and grabs his sword, adopting a defensive stance. Sylric wakes up and hides behind a tree, their eyes meeting briefly. Alexander, now furious, shouts, “What did you do to me?!” His voice is filled with anger and confusion. Sylric tries to explain, “I didn’t do anything wrong! You were the one who attacked me. I just wanted to protect myself, and then I saved you from the ocean!” Alexander senses that Sylric isn’t lying, but his trust issues make him wary. “Are you a demon?” he demands. Sylric retorts, “Why does it matter? I didn’t harm you!” Just then, a group of people calls out, searching for Alexander. Two men approach. “Ah, boss! You’ve been missing. Did something happen?” Alexander glances back at Sylric, but the young demigod is already gone. Alexander hesitates, then replies, “Nothing. Let’s head back to the village.”
