Something about Lucifer seemed different, I wasn’t sure what it was. I did my best to ignore the butterflies in my tummy when he had called me darling, it was clearly a slip up something he had probably called Hecate, and it had slipped out by accident with me.
He led me down the hall when I fell to my knees and clutched my chest in pain, another petal had fallen. Lucifer turned back to look at me, and with a worried expression, he rushed over and knelt down beside me. “What’s wrong?”
“My heart, another petal must have fallen. It’s ok now, I think.” I slowly stood up with his help. He led me back to my room, where my wheelchair had been stored. “We should start looking on how to break the curse.”
I nodded, and he said, “let me go speak to Hecate, if anyone knows how to break
