Tears are dropping while staring at ceiling at the dark, thinking about her life decisions. Many questions running in your mind that sometimes, you can't easily answer. Giana Miller is a self-taught artist who works at a coffee shop close to her apartment. Giana is a college student who lives on her own. ~Flash back~ She left her family five years ago to stay away from chaotic situation that makes Giana feel lonely and miserable. Her father is a gambling addict, and her mother is an abusive parent to her. ~end of Flash back~ ~~~~ ~alarm's ringing~ Giana's alarm went off, she immediately stood up and ran to the bathroom to take a bath when she heard the alarm rang. Giana's class begins at 10 a.m. she was almost late for her class but unexpectedly, a guy offered her for a ride, and it is her friend Kenneth. "Running late? jump in!" Kenneth said while smiling at Giana. "OKAY, thank you!" Giana said as she opened the car door and sat down. Kenneth safely brings Giana to her school. When they arrived, Giana immediately opened the door and ran without even saying goodbye to Kenneth. Kenneth and Giana have been best friends since high school and agree on everything. Kenneth and Giana's classmates teased them as a sweet heart couple in high school, but Giana never felt anything for Kenneth, but Kenneth fell in love with Giana since they were in elementary school, and he is too scared to confess his true feelings to Giana. Later on, Kenneth is about to confess his feelings to Gia after graduating from high school, but he realizes that his best friend is already courting Gia and he doesn't like to start a fight nor trouble, so he didn't confess to Gia that time. He is now contented that they are still close and stay connected to each other. Kenneth was a good guy, smart and brave guy, he have not any bad intensions towards Gia, he is a caring, respectful and matured guy, he is almost too perfect for a guy, and he knows his boundaries and limitations when it comes to Gia. ~~~~ After class, Gia walks to her workplace while feeling tired from school. She really wants to save money to start a business someday and persue her dream to be a famous artists, which she believes is impossible. "Gia!" as her co-worker called her. "What?" Gia asked. "I'm about to leave for two days, I'm just informing you so you don't get confused or anything," her co-worker said. "Okay, but why?" Gia asked. "It is my mother's birthday, and I need to go back to our home province to celebrate her 70th birthday." Gia's co-worker said. "Okay, take care!" Gia said. Gia became more stressed when she heard about it. That means she will be alone for two days at the coffee shop. The coffee shop is like a small truck coffee shop that stands infront of tall building, and every employee that working at that building is a loyal customers of the coffee shop that every morning they have many customers that wants their coffee. ~~~~ After a long day, Gia decided to go home early, so she immediately close the shop, until she realizes someone is watching and following her going home. She observes the person behind her while simply looking back. At the moment, she feeling so scared and planning to run but she thinks that if she run, the guy will shoot her. But suddenly the man hold her hand and speak, "Are you alone? can I come with you?" Comes out, it's Kenneth. "Oh my gosh Kenneth, you nearly gave me a heart attack!" Gia said. "I'm sorry haha, I just saw you walking alone, so I decided to walk with you, and It's late, what if someone kidnap's you." Kenneth said. "My apartment is just 1 kilometer away from the coffee shop, you are so dramatic!" Giana respond sarcastically. "I'm just concern, you know!" Kenneth replied. Giana and Kenneth arrived at Giana's apartment when suddenly someone trying to open the door from Giana's apartment. Kenneth immediately shouted at the man, "Hey! what are you doing you little sh*t!" Kenneth immediately grabbed the man's shirt but the man suddenly pushed Kenneth away and ran away. "OH MY GOSH THAT'S SO SCARY! we should call the police right away!" Giana said while feeling nervous. Kenneth immediately called the police and told them what just happened earlier, thankfully the police came early and told Giana to sleep at the police station for awhile because maybe the man will come back for her, but Kenneth volunteer that Giana can sleep at his apartment just for one night. And Giana agree to it. The police drove to Kenneth's place with Kenneth and Giana and leave them both. "If you need help, just call us." the police man said. "Yes sir, ofcourse thank you!" Kenneth said. Kenneth opens up the door for Giana and welcome her to his place. "Here, you sleep at my bed and I will just sleep on the couch," Kenneth said humbly. "Oh really, uhm... okay thanks... uhm by the way thank you for everything you have done for me, I'm very greatful that you are my friend still now, maybe if you are not there earlier, maybe the man surely hurt me or worst... kill me." Giana said as she being thankful for Kenneth. "You know Giana you are my friend, of course I will choose to protect you!" Kenneth replied to Giana. After their conversation, Kenneth slowly closing the door as he saw Giana falling asleep, and unexpectedly he mesmerized by Giana's beauty and he whispered, "If you only just give me a chance, you and me. I will always choose to protect you..." He is really inlove with Giana since then, but he didn't want to ruin their connections and choose to keep it as a secret. Next morning, Giana woke up in a brightest room, and stand up and walk towards the door, and she slowly opens the door and see that Kenneth was making their breakfast. "Wow, you know how to cook?" Giana as she asked and surprised. "Yes of course, do I look like a rich man to you? of course I cook! hahahahaha" Kenneth jokely said. "By the way just sit down and relax and eat!" Kenneth said. Giana gets her own spoon and tasted the food that Kenneth make, Giana surprisingly agree that Kenneth can cook. "Not bad." Giana said while judging the food that Kenneth made. After their breakfast, Giana volunteer to wash the dishes and told Kenneth that she is decided to go back to her apartment, "Anyways, I decided to go back to my place and maybe the man just randomly tried to unlock my door," Giana said. "RANDOMLY? the heck hahahaha" Kenneth said as he laughed at Giana. "Yeah, why are you laughing, maybe he doesn't know about me and randomly choose a door to unlock," Giana said as she explained. "Yeah, I understand your point but still, it's not safe Giana. You are safe here, you know just stay here for a while and after a week if the man didn't broke in at your place then you can go back." Kenneth said. "Okay fine, but I need to go back to coffee shop, I need to open the shop today." Giana said. "Okay" Kenneth replied. Giana prepares herself and go straight up to her workplace. When she got at the coffee shop, she noticed that there's so many customers are lining up waiting for her coffee. She immediately start to do her job and after that, she have afternoon classes so after her work she needs to go to her school to attend her classes. But her co-worker were not there and the money that should be obtained from 24 hours work will be wasted if she leave the shop. And perfectly, Kenneth was there and volunteer to be the incharge at the shop while Giana was at the school. Giana teach Kenneth how coffee machine works and greatfully Kenneth is a fast learner. "You are such a life saver!" Giana said as she is in a hurry to go to school. "I know, take care!" Kenneth said with a smile. Giana didn't know about that, that day Kenneth has a job interview, but still he chose to help Giana. Kenneth will sacrifice everything just for Giana, but Kenneth didn't tell that to Giana about the job interview because he knows that if he tells her about that, Giana will be worried and feel guilty. ~~~~ While running for the bus, Giana accidentally bump into someone. "What the heck! look what have you done to my suit!" the man said. "Ohh, I'm sorry! I'm just in a hurry" Giana replied as she apologizing to the man. But then suddenly the man stares at Giana for a second and realized that, "You know? you are perfect to be my wife! Yes you!" the man said. "Huh?" Giana said as she confusedly asked the man.
