Lyra Elaris never expected greatness.Born into a once-respected noble family that has long faded into obscurity, she lives a quiet life in the Kingdom of Shadow Fang, finding comfort in books, flowers, and the small acts of kindness that make the world feel a little less lonely. But strange things have followed her since childhood.Dreams of silver light.A memory of unbearable cold. And the haunting feeling that an important part of history has been erased.Everything changes when a mysterious traveler arrives during the Moon Harvest Festival. Unknown to Lyra, the stranger is King Kael Draven himself—a ruler burdened by the threat of war and secrets hidden within his own kingdom. As forgotten symbols awaken, ancient gates stir, and whispers of the lost kingdom of Lunaris spread across the Seven Kingdoms, Lyra and Kael are drawn into a conspiracy that has remained buried for centuries. Why do ancient legends seem to know her name? Why do hidden records point to a history that someone deliberately erased? And why does every answer lead back to the one memory Lyra has carried since childhood—the cold?As enemies emerge from the shadows and the truth behind Lunaris begins to awaken, Lyra must choose between the ordinary life she has always known and a destiny written beneath the moon long before she was born.Because kingdoms can be forgotten.History can be stolen. But destiny always remembers. And the girl the moon crowned is about to remember who she truly is.

Chapter 1: The Girl Who Remembered the Cold
Chapter 1: The Girl Who Remembered the Cold The first thing Lyra Elaris ever remembered was the cold. Even after twenty-two years, she still woke from certain dreams with tears on her cheeks and the strange feeling of frost lingering on her skin. But she never knew why. There was no face. No name. No voice. Only cold. Whenever she tried to reach beyond that memory, everything disappeared into fragments—a silver light dancing across dark water, the scent of pine after rain, and a woman’s gentle laughter that always faded before she could understand the words. Years ago, Lyra had stopped trying to uncover the truth. Some memories were not meant to be chased. Some only hurt more the closer you came to them. Morning sunlight poured through the open window of her small bedroom, carrying the sweet scent of fresh bread and blooming jasmine. Beyond the walls of House Elaris, the Kingdom of Shadow Fang had already awakened. Today was the beginning of the Moon Harvest Festival. Soon, the streets would be filled with merchants selling colorful goods, musicians playing cheerful melodies, and children running through crowded squares. Noble families would arrive in elegant carriages, dressed in their finest clothes, ready to celebrate a day that represented hope and prosperity. For most people, the festival was a promise of new beginnings. For Lyra, it was simply another day. Another celebration she would watch from a distance. Another reminder that while the world around her changed, her own life remained the same. She slowly rose from her bed and looked around her room. It was modest compared to the grand chambers that had once belonged to the daughters of House Elaris. The wallpaper had begun to fade. The wooden floor creaked beneath every step. The curtains had been repaired so many times that the careful stitches had become part of their beauty. Yet everything was perfectly clean. Every shelf was dusted. Every book was arranged neatly. A small vase of fresh wildflowers rested beside the window, bringing a little life into the quiet room. Lyra believed there was dignity in caring for what little you had. After washing, she stood before the mirror and brushed her long midnight-black hair until it fell smoothly over her shoulders. She reached for a simple blue ribbon lying on her dressing table. No jewels. No expensive decorations. Only a tiny stitch along one edge where she had repaired it herself months ago. A small smile touched her lips. “It still has a few more years left.” A gentle knock sounded at the door. “Lady Lyra?” The familiar voice immediately brought warmth to her heart. “Come in, Mara.” The elderly housekeeper entered carrying the same kindness she had shown Lyra since childhood. Mara had served House Elaris for decades. She had remained loyal even after the family’s wealth disappeared and their influence faded. “You’ve been awake for hours,” Mara said knowingly. “I thought I would find you reading again.” Lyra laughed softly. “I couldn’t sleep.” “The festival?” Lyra nodded. “Everyone says the Moon Harvest Festival brings good fortune.” Mara’s eyes sparkled with amusement. “Luck rarely knocks twice, child.” She paused, then smiled. “But when it does… don’t be afraid to open the door.” Lyra wished she could believe that. For years, she had watched other people’s lives transform. Friends had fallen in love. Some had traveled beyond the kingdom. Others had discovered dreams they were brave enough to chase. But Lyra remained in the same place. Still waiting. Still wondering if something greater existed beyond the quiet walls of House Elaris. Yet despite everything… A small part of her refused to stop hoping. Mara noticed the distant expression on her face. “What are you thinking about?” Lyra walked toward the window and looked at the mountains beneath the pale morning sky. “I wonder…” She hesitated. “…whether someone’s life can truly change in a single day.” Mara studied her carefully. Then she smiled. “Sometimes, child…” “…it changes in a single moment.” The moment those words left Mara’s lips, Lyra suddenly gasped. A sharp pain pierced through her chest. She grabbed the windowsill for support. “Lyra?” The room changed. The warmth disappeared. The air became unnaturally cold. Frost slowly began spreading across the window glass. Mara’s expression turned from confusion to fear. “What in heaven’s name is happening?” The flowers beside the window trembled. The candle flame flickered violently. Another wave of cold swept through the room. Lyra struggled to breathe. It felt as though she had been transported into the middle of a winter storm. Then— A flash of silver light appeared beneath the skin of her wrist. Her eyes widened. Mara froze. A strange symbol slowly formed. A crescent moon. Above it… Seven tiny stars. Neither of them moved. Neither of them understood what they were seeing. The silver mark glowed for only a few seconds. Then it vanished. The frost melted. The warmth returned. Silence filled the room. Lyra stared at her wrist. Nothing remained. No mark. No light. No explanation. “Did you…” Her voice trembled. “Did you see that?” Mara looked pale. “I saw it.” Lyra’s heart raced. “What was it?” The elderly woman opened her mouth. But no answer came. Because she didn’t know. And somehow… That frightened her more. Neither woman noticed the figure standing beyond the estate walls. A lone rider sat beneath an ancient oak tree, hidden beneath a dark cloak. His eyes remained fixed on Lyra’s window. He had been waiting. Watching. Searching. For a long time, he said nothing. Then slowly, he lowered his hood. A deep scar crossed one side of his face. But the disbelief in his eyes was stronger than any pain the scar represented. “Impossible…” His gaze shifted toward the distant mountains. Then returned to the window. His voice dropped into a whisper. “After twenty-two years…” A pause. “…the Moon’s Child has awakened.” Without another word, he turned his horse toward House Elaris. For the first time in twenty-two years… Someone was coming for Lyra Elaris. And whether she was ready or not… Her forgotten destiny had finally begun.
