Rough Road To Success

The terminal period of the session was very near. All the students were busy counting the remaining days they would spend in school, after they had done their promotional examination. Extreme rapture rented the students' hearts and minds. The wind blowing at this period was full of merriment and excitement. Many days, weeks, and months the students would spend at home during the third-term holiday make it different from the two other terms. Visiting friends, relatives and going on vacation were enough to make the difference. Mr Larry's children were also wrapped in this condition. Even their happiness were in two-fold. One, that was the first time Mr Larry would have to spend the full holiday with his children. Two, it was a long holiday. With happiness visibly shown on Joy's face, she asked: "Daddy, how are we going to spend this holiday?" "Don't worry, my princess, before you arrive from school today, I would have pondered over it," her father retorted. "Daddy, confirm to us that it will be fantastic," Dennis demanded. "Believe me, it will," Mr Larry said promisingly. The children bade heartily farewell to the home and left for their school. Like the full moon, the children couldn't hide the happiness in their countenances. As they stepped out through their main gate, Hannah, Joy's classmate, approached. On seeing them, she was tormented by curiosity to know the reason behind their happiness. In order to cure the curiosity in her mind, she asked: "Are you happy because the world was by your side yesterday?" "The reason behind our happiness is much more beyond that," Joy responded.
