Chapter 37 The man’s vice-like grip bit into her neck as well as her pride. His touch was unwelcome. Uninvited. What had led this man to this action? Did his emotions affect his values, or the other way around? Either way, Annie, of all people, was certain about the way that emotions affected someone’s behaviour.
