The half-vampire (book one: The Sun Rune)

Today was someone's birthday. And not just anyone's birthday, but it was the birthday of Rosarie Allens. Rosare was a half vampire, half human girl, with short, messy, blonde hair in a ponytail, Yellow eyes (Due to having a vampire for a dad), pale Orange-Yellow skin, and a strange mix of outfit types. Some days she dressed goth, some days she dressed colorful, and sometimes it was both. However, for special occasions, she dressed in monochrome. So, of course, on her sixteenth birthday, she dressed monochrome. Rosarie was a kind girl who cared about animals and wanted a pet cat, but wanted to rescue a stray cat for a pet (after taking it to the vet and making sure it had no diseases or anything, of course). She had no romantic interest and probably never would and she was proud of that. She didn't like anyone in any special way. However, she didn't hate anyone, either. She was badly bullied in school, but she was still kind and merciful towards the bullies. If a serial killer came up to her, covered in blood, holding a bloody knife, she would still believe they could change, even if it meant the person killed her in cold blood right there. Of course, that's never happened (yet, probably.) She got dressed for school, wearing a white blazer shirt, a black skirt that went to the bottom of her knees, dark grey shoes and light grey socks that went halfway up her lower leg, which isn't a very tall sock or short sock. She was talented with drawing and very smart. That day at school, Rosarie wasn't picked on. Probably becase it was her birthday. She got through the school day easily and went home. Her parents celebrated her birthday, then she went to bed.
