Yasmyn's POV

I was confused. It couldn't have been it. The Alpha might be here to talk to me or whatever. Because an Alpha waging a war against a Royal.?

I stood up and walked towards the borders. Adi joined me saying that he got the mindlink too. Great. And then, Selena joined as well. Silas was already walking ahead of me.

"The moment he came here, he brought problems. Do you really not see it?" Adi asked me and I don't know what to say.

The gates were lowered and I saw Alpha Carlos of The Howling Fangs pack.

"Hello, Alpha Carlos" I smiled at him and he smiled back.

His smile wasn't genuine but he is being nice and I took that moment in. And behind him, is an army that's smaller than the Royal army.

But it's not about the army anymore. If he is here with his army, knowing that he doesn't have enough people to help him win, then why is he here in the first place?

"How have you been, Your Majesty?" He asked me and I shrugged my shoulders.

"I have a lot on my plate, so I guess I am doing fine if I am standing here and talking to you," I told him, making him smile.

"One with humor. Great," he paused and then gave my brother a slight bow, "Adi Lorraine. Pleasure to meet you"

My brother just nodded his head but the glare on his face stayed.

"What is the reason behind this, Carlos? State it, talk about it, and get over it," Adi said and I stared at my brother.

His glare at his opponent isn't wavering. And that sent a wave of dominance over the clearing and everyone is aware that Adi Lorraine is here now.

Maybe I should learn this.

"I am here to fight with the future Queen. One on one. The winner takes the crown," Carlos said.

And the entire crowd around me gasped so loud, that I bet Brendan could hear it from his pack.
