I worried about the kids on their trip, but it’s essential to encounter things in this life. I hate to see Woodstock and Darla settle down and have children. If they do, the chances of the young man leaving Werchet are next to none, even traveling and seeing the world are unlikely, for a while, anyway. As for me, I never got to experience much, and I regret it. It’s not too late, but I never will. Life throws funny situations at us sometimes. When I was their age, my goal was to become a millionaire by 30 years old. Such a stupid goal, but that is OK because the cool thing about being a kid is you’re allowed those kinds of silly hopes and dreams.
