Welcome To ADISES
As I stepped into the mysterious world of ADISES, I felt a shiver run down my spine. This was a place where the unknown and unwanted were embraced, where individuals with extraordinary abilities like mine could find solace. I was Kiara Woneas, a student with the power of light, and I was about to embark on a journey that would change everything. The first day of school was dark and ominous, but I was determined to make the most of it. As I stood on the rooftop, crows surrounded the Li-Black Muonium, their haunting calls echoing through the air. Mermaids sang in the distance, their melodies weaving a spell of wonder. I practiced my light powers, hoping to master them one day. The Headmistress, also known as The Tudricker, gathered all the students, including me, for an assembly. She welcomed us warmly and outlined the school's rules: no visiting the opposite gender's hostel, no using powers on fellow students without permission, and no harming those who weren't like us. I wasn't too concerned about the second and third rules, as I was still learning to control my powers. After the assembly, I returned to my room, where I met my roommate, Beth Yeid. She had a long introduction, listing her various powers, including Sonic Scream, the ability to freeze and unfreeze things, and Laser fingers. I was impressed, but also a bit concerned. "Please don't use your Sonic Scream near me," I asked her. "I'm still learning to control my powers, and I don't want to hurt anyone." Beth nodded understandingly, and we began decorating our room. I loved black, while she loved green, so we incorporated both colors into our design. As we worked, I read a novel by Eghosa Imasuen, "Fine Boys." It was fascinating, but also a bit weird. When the bell rang for lunch, we headed to the dining hall. Everyone stared at me, and I asked, "Disturbingly, can I know why you're staring at me? It's such an inadequate manner." They laughed, and I smiled, knowing I had spiked their food with diamonds. Beth chuckled beside me, and we enjoyed our meal. As we finished lunch, we headed back to our room, eager to rest and prepare for the next day. I was excited to see what adventures lay ahead, and I was grateful to have Beth by my side.
