GRAYSON CRAWLED INTO bed when he got home, locked the door, and didn’t come up for food, nor water for a whole day. He couldn’t get up and didn’t want to. Every part of him hurt, and his dry lips bled. He didn’t care. His mate was gone. “Grayson! Hey, big brother! Are you in here?” Megan’s voice echoed through the house, and he groaned. She had a key. Why had he given her a key, again? That’s right. For emergencies. Her light footsteps tread up the stairs and into his room. Grayson kept his eyes closed as he felt his sister draw nearer.
